The Best Ball for all ages
By Luna on Apr 1, 2021
My puppy has loved these balls since she was 10 weeks old. She loves carrying them in her mouth and though she destroys plush and chew toys doesn’t chew on these. She also doesn’t chew on tennis balls though if that’s an indicator. We have two sets of the large and XL because they’re soft enough to play inside but keep a set outside for fetch “soccer” etc. we keep a squeaky tennis ball or other squeaky toy in the middle for the outdoor set for added fun! They last forever. First picture from when she was young was from a ball at least 5 years old! Replaced because we were afraid of mold but turned out to be a food allergy

Open the box as soon as it arrives!
By Rudy on Apr 11, 2021
We got a couple of packages today, but there was one in particular that interested our rescued mix Shepherd, Rudy. As we watched our Friday night line up of TV shows I kept hearing noises coming from the hallway.. as I turned the corner to investigate, Rudy had dragged the Chewy.com box into the hall, chewed a hole in the box and was pulling out the packaging. Now instead of Rudy, we’re calling him Einstein. He can read!

More than a toy!
By Sunny on Mar 23, 2021
Friends gave my pup a Hol-ee Roller when they first met him. It is made to be a dental cleaner as well as a plaything. I found a couple treats he likes that fit snuggly in the ball and don't just slip out. After he eats his meals he gets a treat in the ball that takes a bit of work to free up and is a fun way for him to 'brush' after every meal. The ball lasts for several months even with determined, twice a day after-meal treats. This pup is a smaller mutt but I used this same 'dessert' for my previous two big yellow labs. He leaves the empty ball in his basket after he finishes the treat, then tosses it to me after he finishes his meal. I put a treat in it and throw it back to him. It's an item we wouldn't be without! … more

My dog loves it which is good, but there are some down sides.....
By Chesney on Apr 4, 2021
My dog loves this product, but there are still some down sides to it. It is a greasy type of material that lots of things stick to, the good news is that you can out it in the dishwasher or just rinse it under water. Another down side is that it doesn’t fit many types of treats. The normal treats we get my dog just fall right out of the holes. Maybe this would be different with a smaller size. Overall this is an ok product. Although my dog loves it!!

Ball had overwhelming floral scent - very disappointed
By SJALLEN on Mar 24, 2021
We have one of these balls in green which is loved by our dog - we ordered another and it arrived (red) with an overpowering scent. We tried to remove the intense floral scent by washing with detergent and then putting it outside in a bowl with baking soda and the smell persists. So disappointing - and we have read that others have had the same problem. Too much trouble to return - to the landfill it will have to go. (gave it one star because a rating was required - it is actually a "0") and the wasted $6.60)

Hol-ee not for Ausiedoodle who loves to chew!
By Teddy on Apr 10, 2021
I was so disappointed in this toy for 50 pound Teddy. He loves chewing and he had a similar toy that lasted months .He enjoyed but the original ball but it was not marked with a brand, so I ordered the JW toy which I hoped was the same thing. The JW Hol-ee lasted about 20 minutes before he tore it apart. This toy should not be labeled as a toy for chewers.

Smells like fake chocolate
By Kate on Apr 7, 2021
This has a really strange smell, not like a rubber or plastic but like some sort of sweet fake chocolate/candy they put in the rubber. Its very strong smell and almost concerning to give to a pet that chews on it. I have soaked and washed it but it still has strong smell. It should be stated on a label or description why it smells this way and if its safe.

Pretty flimsy
By Zera on Mar 30, 2021
My dog is not what I would call a power chewer. He used to chew on sticks outside and anything ade of really hard plastic. This ball has lasted longer than I expected. It is really flimsy and bendable. He likes to pick it up and shake his head. He loves the smaller, tougher version of this ball better, but this will do if he sees it.

Ignore The Description
By aka6161 on Apr 11, 2021
As much as I love this ball for toss and retrieve, it’s construction is inferior. The rubber breaks away after 10 minutes of use. By the third use it’s shredded. .. and no longer a ball. Too Bad , I love the concept and would like to see the company use a better material.

Great fun!
By MollieMom on Mar 19, 2021
Our 10 month-old Golden Retriever loves her Hol-ee Roller. She chases it when we throw, and frequently tosses it herself then chases it. It would be too large for her to carry as a solid ball but because of the holes she can and does carry it around like a stuffed animal. The holes in the medium are too large to use the ball as a treat toy so we will be getting a smaller one for that.
