Does the small size accomadate a cockatiel?

Small perch swing is ideal for parakeets and other small birds and regular size is ideal for cockatiels and similarly sized birds.

These perches have a diameter of 3/4 of an inch, and they are too wide for Zebra Finches.

Great toy base

I wrapped the perch part in vet wrap and jute string, then added toy parts to the sides. Birds love it. I’ve bought both the small and larger size and i think my budgies prefer the cockatiel size. They sit on it together sometimes. One of them will flap his wings to make it swing. Would not go on it when the sandpaper was exposed. Wish they sold a plain wood version of this.

[WARNING!]

This swing has a sand paper coating on the foot grip! This is terrible for your bird. I understand it can trim your birds nails but it does much more (worse) things! It will give your birds feet scratches. This will give your birds scratches due to the hard coating. If you don’t believe me, get sand paper, take your shoes off, and walk on it. First thing you will say is OW! That’s exactly how the poor birds feel.
