    Big Disappointment!

By MomofBo on Jan 28, 2021

I dislike writing negative reviews, but Chewy keeps bugging me to rate my purchases, so here goes. This product was an IMMEDIATE failure. I put the treats in both ends, put the RoboBone on the floor and it immediately swung around in a tight circle and spew ALL of the treats all over the place. Bo loved it, but I didn't. Another toy for the garbage.

    Pet Robo bone

By Claire on Jan 15, 2021

Not the best toy I ever bought for my dog. It tends to scatter the treats way too fast instead of making her work for him.

My dog looks forward to the "treat mobile"

By KWPR on Jul 28, 2020

My dog loves to chase things like lizards and bees so I thought this would be perfect for him. Surprisingly he is a little intimidated by it so he watches as the treats come out and strategizes how to get to them without getting in the way of the toy. When we originally got it it seemed really slow. We must have had old batteries because when we changed them the new ones made this toy go super fast. I still haven't found the ideal size treat though, the training size treats pop right out and the soft treats don't come out at all.

Wish it would cover more ground

By Leash on Jul 7, 2020

I thought this would go straight forward and turn when it bumped into something, however, it simply spins. The top will flip to the other side and it will spin the other way. After a few spins, all the treats have fallen out. So our Chihuahua simply stands there and picks up treats as this spins in front of him. I was hoping he would get more exercise having to chase this.

    Great for Puppies to Seniors

By Dogzmama on May 7, 2020

I purchased this with the hopes of some fun for our 6-month-old Westie puppy. He enjoys the toy. I am happy. PROS -Toy spins and rolls and redirects it selfs when bumps into furniture. -Wheels hold the treats, very large opening, not so great for smaller treats. -very slow turning of the wheels, won't damage furniture, not enough torque. -The toy is constructed of hard lightweight plastic, ok for puppies/dogs to maneuver with paws/mouth. -no loud noises -I insert large pieces of beer/turkey/chicken/pork jerky inside to make sure it doesn't fall out so fast along with smaller treats. -takes 4 AAA batteries, not included. CONS -I wish the holes for the treats were I purchased this with the hopes of some fun for our 6-month-old Westie puppy. He enjoys the toy. I am happy. The blue tab will have to be removed altogether or reglued. -Tunes or Fun Noises would be nice -The price is a bit high for function/quality. Overall, Yes, I would recommend the toy~! … more

My small dog became quickly active and playful with this

By LuckyParent on Jan 23, 2020

My dog weighs just 8.5 lbs, and started out hesitant, (but not afraid) of this and quickly (few mins) learned to stalk it around the room and and watch for the unpredictable flying chow bits - very fun to watch. Robo Bone gets stuck occasionally, so good to be in the same room to simply redirect it. However, Robo Bone is otherwise remarkably able to climb over carpet and blanket edges, and low door frame borders, and re-route itself when encountering a blocking obstacle.

    Owner Review

By Loki on Jan 25, 2020

I think this toy has great potential for small part pieces to be swallowed. We had another toy very similar to this once and Loki loves the toy itself however the design of this toy and one we had previously have are not for chewing dogs and the rubber tip can be pulled off (in our case in moments) it is a small piece that can be easily swallowed.

    Cool toy, too slow

By Angie on Jan 13, 2020 Top 100 Contributor

Variable speeds would make this better. My girl is fast and smart, she knows how the Robo Bone is suppose to be used, but in a matter of two minutes the slow speed bored her, now she always paws the Robo Bone and fishes the treats out. Great toy for dogs that are more relaxed, low energy and in my opinion this would possibly be good for playful cats.

    Great toy for my Chihuahua

By outofstock on Sep 21, 2019

I was worried it was too big for my 7 pound Chihuahua. He lost interest after about 15 minutes when no kibble was in the wheels, but after I put some food in the wheels, it kept his attention for about an hour. Not sure how long the batteries will last as I only just received it but it does stop after a period of time and is still until touched again, then it starts going and has his attention. I would recommend this as for the price it was a great value and keeps him entertained!
