  • Cats accepted this easily.

I was surprised this stuff smells good--like chocolate granola--and further surprised that my cats thought so too! They will eat it directly with a little water so it isn't dry (and choose it over their kibble!), but I mix it with their food as directed. I ordered this so I wouldn't have to pay extra money for a poorly formulated prescription food where this was the only active ingredient, and I am pleased with my decision. The only downside is the container comes less than half full. It remains to be seen how long it will last.

  • Cat loves it

We recently got hit with a $4000.00 vet bill due to a urinary blockage in our two year old cat. We want to avoid that happening again for the sake of his health and our wallets, so we introduced Purina Urinary health wet food, but he won't eat it... unless we put a scoop of this on it first. It's affordable, supposedly helps combat urinary issues and helps our cat stomach his new food. Fingers and paws crossed!

  • Helps with bladder issues

These granules are part of a program suggested by our vet to keep our dogs bladder free of crystals. Her last check up was excellent!

  • working really well

It seems to have really helped my cats UTI. The vet wanted to give more antibiotics but I told her I wanted to treat the UTI naturally this time. The K-PLUS seems to have taken care of it but I haven't had another test to tell for sure. Also she seems to like the taste mixed up in her food. My 16 year old diabetic cat seems to be walking much better too. I read that diabetic cats can be low in potassium & Zobaline, which makes their back legs weak. I plan on keeping her on this the rest of her life.

  • Replacement for another more costly supplement.

    By on

I recently rescued a 12-year old Bichon whose owner passed. He was prescribed potassium citrate for a urinary issue. When I brought him home, he came with a container of another, more costly brand from his vet. After sticking with that brand for a year, I found this product that had the exact same ingredients in the same portions at a lower price. He doesn't seem to notice the difference and continues to have no urinary problems.

  • Yummy & Affordable

My dog has an issue with his bladder and this was recommended by the vet. He LOVES it. I sprinkle half a scoop for breakfast/dinner and he will lick it up and then eat. He gets so excited at meal time now with this.

  • Nothing wrong with it but

I can’t get my dog to eat it. He eats plain uncooked kale, hobo excrement, unsweetened cranberry juice... but not this. I thought Frenchies were supposed to be easy!

  • Definitely loved by our little “boy!”

Our 10 lb picky eater sure loves this stuff. We add 1/2 scoop for morning and evening meal. We mix it and his u/d dry food with very warm water. We stir it to make a gravy and he gobbles it up. Will be bringing in a urine sample to vet next week. Hoping there are less crystals in his urine this time.

  • K-Plus Potassium

This seems to be working well for my elderly cat; the blood work a few weeks ago showed he was on the (low) border for potassium. The flavor is apparently irresistable; I will have his blood rechecked at some point.

  • Simon LOVE"S IT

Our 11 yr old rescue (we think part Bichon) had surgery for bladder stones - this product along with a prescribed diet has stopped the return of those stones for a year now. We hope it continues - this product is great!
