What grade food is this?

All K9 Natural wholefood ingredients are sourced in New Zealand, are of human-grade quality. They only use sustainable, free-range, and grass-fed ingredients.
The feeding guidelines on the 13 ounce can say 3-4 cans a day for a <6 month old puppy weighing 22lbs. Does that mean that with a 44 lb dog I should be feeding 6 to 8 cans a day?

The Adult formula will have different feeding instructions. For an average medium sized dog (44 pounds), you'd feed 2-3 cans daily.

Best Puppy Food We've Found

I think we tried 5 other puppy foods before shelling out for this formula, but it has been so worth the investment! I trusted the other reviews and was not disappointed. The ingredients are top notch, especially where puppy nutrients are concerned, and the can is super convenient for feeding. My puppy was super picky with other foods and would often leave food behind in her bowl, but she completely licks it clean now that we've started feeding her this! I hope Chewy doesn't stop carrying the Puppy formula.

too rich for my pup

This was too rich for my pup. Gave him very loose stools. Mixed a very small amount with his dry food so the portion was not large. He seemed to like the taste ok but did not agree with his bowels. VERY EXPENSIVE as well and now stuck with a case I cannot use. He is a mini Aussie Doodle. Bummer.

Great quality and premium ingredients.

I really like the straight forward limited ingredients and that it’s made from high quality proteins. Only thing is that my puppy is still a picky eater and the smell of it isn’t enticing enough for him. For me the smell is nothing different than most canned dog food but it’s pretty soupy and I have to be a little careful when opening a can.

Human Grade!

Wanted to add raw to my puppies diet this can food is the next best thing. Packed with healthy meats no by products or meals just straight up human grade meats. Since it’s so expensive I use just as a topper and my dogs go crazy for it!

Not for my pup

My dog got super sick after eating this food. I only put a quarter can mixed with his dry food. I don’t know if it was bc it is really protein rich or what.

Our puppy LOVES this

This is the only premium food that has helped our tiny rescue pup gain some weight! He eats every bite and is super excited at meal time when he knows this is on the menu. While this food is obviously more pricey than most, high quality ingredients really do seem to make all the difference.

Best Food on the Market

I have a wolf hybrid who requires a high protein diet. I feed him raw, but supplement with this and Natures Logic canned food from time to time. While it is a bit pricey, it is worth it, this is the HEALTHIEST food there is, full of all natural ingredients and an array of all the organs an animal would naturally be eating in the wild. I will continue to supplement with the puppy food even when my pup is an adult (he’s 1 now) because I love that it has blood as one of the ingredients. (I also like natures logic as it also very pure; it doesn’t even contain synthetic vitamins and minerals). As an aside, at one time, I received one case that happened to have a lot of dented cans. Chewy was amazing as always and sent me a new case to reimburse the damage! If you’re looking for the healthiest commercial food for your pet, I can’t recommend k9 natural enough!
