Not as shown

The picture makes the pack look like you can carry water, but the pocket is too small. The picture that comes with the pack makes it look like there is a pocket for snacks. The pack I received has no pocket. The shoulder straps are uncomfortable for carrying weight of any kind and there is no waist belt. You wouldn't be comfortable carrying a dog around a block in this. The carry space on an extra small is too deep for my puppy (Chihuahua, about half grown.). I am very disappointed and plan to give it away to the local shelter, so they can sell it in their store.

This bag was easy to use and allowed the pup to feel stable and secure with adjustable straps supporting his back and holding him close to my body so he wasn't swinging around or anything like that.

Perfect for my dog!

This is a great add for my small dog. Once he got used to the bag, he relaxed & enjoyed the ride.

Einnie explores the world

Our puppy, Einstein, tires out on walks. We do not want to limit his sister’s walks/ exploration/ adventures. The K9 sport sack is out solution! Einnie loves the view from up high. And… he looks super cute!

Hands Free but In Touch

I was hesitant to order the K9 Sport Sack based on reviews I read that some end-users experienced stitching failures. I have used the size medium now for my new puppy for 3 weeks and it has been very durable. I do wish that the padding on the shoulder straps was a bit more padded for comfort and ease of putting the backpack on. I have some trouble getting the second strap on with my pooch inside. Also, I do recommend that the clip to secure the pack to my pup's collar be on the same side as the zipper and slightly heavier weight; just slightly heavier weight. Travelling and staying in hotels was much easier managing luggage and crate, etc. Also, I just used the pack to mow my lawn; my pup was just fine, noise and all! A nice idea for an advertisement LOL!

I have a 12lb mini golden doodle and he LOVED this K9 sport pack! We used it for the first time on a 10+ mile bike ride and it couldn’t have gone better! He was very secure and comfortable and loved the wind on his face. Would 10/10 recommend!

Puppy back pack

The backpack for our puppy is wonderful! The construction is excellent with a lot of well thought out detail. Good ventilation, a tie down to keep squirmy puppies from getting loose and plenty of room to grow!

Great Pack For a Mini Australian Labradoodle!

The key to getting an excited pup into this pack is to introduce it incrementally. And be patient. Don’t do it all in one day and use lots of treats. We spent at least two weeks getting Jackie Daytona used to the pack, and associating it with high value treats. No joke, the first day was “look at the treat, look at the pack, have a treat.” End of lesson. Each day we did a little more, like hook the bag on the collar, have a treat, take the bag off. End of lesson. Clip bag, one paw, treat, end of lesson. After about two weeks I was able to get her in the pack and put it on by myself. Then walks around the condo. Then walks down the block. Then sitting on the scooter. Sitting on the scooter turn on engine. Turn off. Then ride half the block. Then the rides got longer. Now she really loves being in the pack and gets into position with little coaxing. I learned my lesson trying to force her into other models of pack and then getting exasperated and giving up-she was just so squirmy and all over the place that I felt like giving up. The only problem is the zipper should have a protective inner flap-our girl is so fluffy that it’s hard to smooth her fur down and keep it out of the zipper. For reference or Jackie Daytona is now 20lbs and we both find the pack comfortable, although I may upgrade to a more durable model.

Worked for biking

Took my dog biking with the backpack. It was pretty difficult to get her into the bag and she would occasionally squirm around inside. She has a very thin and long body, the small was too small so we went with the medium. There’s a clip inside the backpack to attach to her collar which helped with keeping her inside the bag. Overall probably the safest way to take her biking with us! She looked super cute and once she was in the bag she enjoyed taking in the sights and smells.
