This backpack provides the structure I'm looking for.

I was looking for a backpack that provides wall structures that doesn't collapse. This was it! My 5 lb maltese doesn't lay in backpacks, she tends to stand up, hanging onto the backpack with her paws. This backpack let's her do that so that she doesn't fall out. I had an old backpack that was flexible so I had to hold her even when she's strapped in to the backpack. She's a bit short for this backpack so I place several thin towels underneath to bump her up a bit. That way she can have her head poke out and see everything without having to try to stand up. The mesh hole on the bottom doesn't do much for her besides air ventilation. She doesn't walk into the backpack because it's kind of low. I take her on hikes monthly and this backpack makes it easy to bring her to other places that I didn't feel comfortable bringing her to before. It's pretty cozy for a 5-lb dog, I don't know how comfortable a 15-lb dog would be in this for an extended amount of time. Overall, this backpack is perfect for my dog and highly recommend!

Too Small Bag

This is a well made back pack and by measuring the outside measurements, our 13 lb dog should have fit, unfortunately the only comfortable way for him to fit, it with his head sticking out the top. He was quite happy, but the airlines wouldn't be so I have to return this.

Poor vision

Purchased for my 9 pound cat. The piece is nicely constructed and spacious. The problem is my cat is too tall to see through the screen so it was stressful for her.
