Very Pleased birds
Originally got this for a bird that lives around my house, a Carolina wren in case you’re curious about species, and they’re a happy birdie. Now not only does the wren go to the feeder, I got cardinals, a couple blackbirds, some woodpeckers and a very small brown bird. It also is a win for my menace (indoor cat), she gets to watch them eat and a new discovery is the groundhog ( his name is Fred) like the food when the birds drop food. In short, if you need some happy birdies this will help! Just get more than one feeder since they’ll eat a lot!
Cracked Corn and Dust
As indicated by other reviewers, this mixture is very dusty. Opened the bag and poured it into my storage container; could not believe the dust that flew out of the pour. Seeds are also dusty as a result. Also a large portion of the mix is cracked corn, neither the birds nor the squirrels will eat the corn. Simply makes a mess on the ground which I have to rake and sweep up. Took off my autoship order after two bags. Thought the first bag may have been an anomaly. Guess not.
Chicken feed not wild bird seed
I was very disappointed in the amount of cracked corn in this mix. The sun flower seeds are few and far between and appear to be from the time of Moses. At the end of the day I have to sweep up all the cracked corn and dust to keep field mice away.
Best bird seed ever
I've been feeding birds in my yard for well over a year and this was my first time using Kaytee's wild bird food. I've never had so many birds. Only downside is I have to replenish far more often, but that's a problem I'm ok having.
Crushed corn
I was very disappointed in this brideseed. It was super dusty and the majority of it was crushed corn kernels. Needless to say the birds wouldn't eat it and it attracted mice to my feeder.
Not worth it
This bag of foods it powdery and dusty. I filled up 2 feeders that were emptied down to 1/4 full right away. The next day I wondered why the were not completely emptied and I realized the bottoms were basically just dust. I emptied them , re filled and same thing happened with some additional clogging. Even when filling so much powder/dust comes up. Not worth it.will go back to my usual brand at same price point.
These are mostly seeds and nuts for wild crows, squirrels, and rats
There has been more and more cheap and rancid pieces of peanuts, almonds, corn and sunflowers, which are not part of wild songbirds diet. High starch and rancid fat that only crows and rodents can safely digest. The cheapest stuff at the highest price. No more for my birds!!!

Kaytee is always good and this buy is a great value!! And any time I can have something brought to me instead of running around to stores to find best deal, is a win for me!
WHAT ELSE YA GOT?
Never had a problem with my bird feeder clogging until I purchased and poured in this product. Certainly won't be buying this brand again.
Kaytee Bird Seed if the BEST!
This seed is loved by the many birds that come to our yard and it is reasonably priced. Having it shipped through Chewy makes it very convenient as well.
