I don't mind paying a little more for this size bag of seed because it fits in my feeder with one pour. Problem is I will probably not order it again because when I add a case of 2 of dog food to the order, the bags of seed get blown open in the box. This time only one broke but the seed goes everywhere just bringing the bag in the house because the box is usually dinged as well. Putting the seed on TOP of the cases of dog food would probably solve the problem because laying them beside them doesn't work. Boom, seed bomb!
First time I ordered bird seed from company Not one but both of the bags I received were completely opened on the bottom of bag needless to say which resulted in bird seed all over my floor and over half of the seed wasted I will not be ordering again
With the price of bird food going up and sometimes empty shelves I turned to chewy. I have 2 feeders in a tree and also spread some on the ground. I guess they liked it as they started eating right away.
I, personally, like this seed but my feathered friends not so much because of the coated seed. They eat all the other stuff except those coated seeds. Can't explain to them why this is necessary, so... - I will still buy this product.
The birds love their new birders' blend food and I love the price (and of course the delivery).
The birds are actually fighting over this stuff!! They told their relatives and now I have easily double the amount of feathered visitors.
I stopped buying this birds squirrels, any wildlife do not eat it . That has been true for over 20yrs . This is proof enough for me . While it is lest costly it is a waste .
The wild birds that come to our yard love this! The squirrels sit under the bird feeder waiting for some to drop so they can eat it too!
Happy with my purhase. Quick delivery as well. Pricing was fair.
I sprinkle a cup. I see robins, blue jays, sparrows, finches, morning doves, woodpeckers. 8lbs for $7 is a fair price.
