  • My hamster loves running around!!!

    By on

I purchased this because my hamster enjoys being out of her cage when she's awake. I purchase about 2 of these a month because she'll scratch them up pretty good on the inside from just running around. But you should just becareful because they'll begin biting the top and if they bite it too much, the top of the ball can open up and they can get out

  • Top Pops Off

    By on

I bought this based on another customer review, which indicated that it was pet secure. Three out of the four times my rat has used it, the top popped off. I keep cats, so this is a no-go situation. I put the top on properly and snuggly. It is still usable, but I have to watch its progress continually. The one I purchased may be defective, so I shall try another one. I'm not convinced.

  • PSA: Rats aren’t meant for exercise balls

    By on

This product may be recommended for rats, but dont be fooled. Rats are intelligent animals and are often terrified by products like this. Rats have small, weak, lungs susceptible to all forms of damage, the plastic balls like this can harm their breathing a lot. Rats also usually have very long tails, which we all know are a part of their spine. Even the biggest available size will probably prove to be extremely uncomfortable. Perhaps a small female, or a young rat might be comfortable, but certainly not a full sized rat. Any self respecting rat parent just wouldn’t take the risk if they did their research. Buy them a large wheel for their cage to exercise in, and provide a safe free roam area This product may be recommended for rats, but dont be fooled. Just received this small animal exercise ball yesterday and I tried putting my ferret inside of it... I turned my head for a minute & she ended up escaping!!! Looked over & the lid was upside down & empty ball.

  • It is alright

    By on

I got this ball to update my previous 11.5in one. The plastic in the 13in is much lower quality, most of the snaps broke when trying to put the two halves together, the 11.5 in had screws that held the two pieces together. It still holds together, but I am always worried it going to pop open at any minute. I'm not sure if the quality changed because my 11.5in was two years old, I doubt this one will last two years.

  • Tux's exercise ball

    By on

I bought this ball not really realizing how large it actually is. It is for my teddy bear hamster. Once I received it, I was afraid it was to big for him and that he wouldn't be able to move it. I was wrong. He loves it! It shipped well and was easy to put together. Highly recommend.

  • Quite pleased

    By on

This is one of the cheapest purchases I’ve made for my hamster and it’s quite good. I love it, and my hamster seems as he likes it as well. But I just wish it were a little bigger. My hamster is not a dwarf hamster and he fits pretty well and is comfortable, but I just wish it were bigger

  • Bearded Dragon Fun

    By on

I put my 18" long bearded dragon in the ball to get some safe exercise. The air slots acted as ladder rungs for her to move the ball around. She did great her very first time and wasn't hesitant to get around in it.

  • Perfect for winter white hammy

    By on

Princess is a winter white hamster and with 3 dogs running around they don’t bother her in this 7 inch ball at all. She does get stuck under a Hollywood bed frame tho. So I have to keep the bedroom doors shut!
