  • Not Good At Keeping In Smells

    By on

I bought this about a month ago for my six rats it does not keep in the pee smell very well after about three days it started to smell, and I do spot clean every day and change it out fully weekly both their actual bedding and the litter box,by the end of the week it starts to smell extremely bad however I would recommend this for people with less rats, I will be switching over to a different type of litter now

  • Wouldn't even try anything else

    By on

This litter has worked like magic with all the bunnies I came across (three so far). We adopted a four-year old, not spayed male bunny with zero litter habits. That changed in less than two months and now, aside from a rare accident, he's perfectly used to his litter box.

  • Nope, no good

    By on

I usually buy the wood chips bedding for Alice’s litter box. It’s cheaper and effective. This litter bag last me only for one use in her littler box. I clean out her litter box once a week. Way too expensive for a one term use!

  • Just Plain Rocks

    By on

It's more like just plain rocks than a litter that's absorbent or smell removing in anyway, my pigs pee just went to the bottom of their tray and sat under this while it still kept its form and absorbed nothing. Might as well use regular wood shavings over this. Especially for the price. Not worth it. Now I have a bag left and nothing to use it on or anyone to give it to since it isn't useful at all.

  • Good, but....

    By on

I think the product is good, but I don't know how to train my G pig to potty in the litter pan. I put it in her cage and even put a couple of poops in it to get her to see that's where her potty goes but she pooped/pee'd everywhere except the pan. This stuff was kind of dusty, but that's to be expected I think.

  • Worth a shot

    By on

My rats don't seem to care for it. Still working with them since they weren't trained before. Hopefully they will change. I think it is good but as I stated, my rats are still being trained.

  • Surprisingly mushy

    By on

The pee gets absorbed very well, however it turns into this insane clay mush that is impossible to scoop out and even wipe out

The litter is nice looking, and a good size, but my chinchilla trys to eat the litter and I have to stop her.

  • Okay . Havent seen my Hams use it

    By on

Unfortunately , I have not seen them use it. It is why I gave it two stars. If it works for you, then that's great! But I will keep using it , will see if they actually will pee on it.

  • Still trying to decide

    By on

Seems like a good concept, but I can't tell that it really works for my bunnies. It's supposed to be a training tool to help with litter box training small animals, but I really can't see that it helps much at all. I've bought a few bags, but in my opinion it's not worth the price for such a small bag. It doesn't absorb very well and is messy to clean up. It's worth a try I guess. May work ok for the smaller animals (hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc.).
