    One Mouse Owner

By Kibbim on Dec 5, 2020

I have a single mouse in this cage do to not getting along with others. The wheel is small and not good quality. The assemble of the cage was straight foreword and easy to put together after looking at picture on box. The bottom two doors are gravity held. Placed a piece of type over cover for security. Looking forward to adding tubes and other habitats.

    Innapropriate

    By HamsterCare2020 on Oct 11, 2020

This is an inappropriate cage, all crittertrails, tiny tales, etc. are far to small and expensive for any small animal. The current bare minimum for hamsters is 450 sq inches and it’s recommended that you give at least 600 sq inches. For mice, you need at least 400 sq inches. For gerbils, you need at least a 20 gallon tank, they will chew their way out of any wood or plastic. Please do your research before getting any animal.

    Escape from Hampstertraz

By Daniel on Mar 2, 2020

I had put this together and used for a grand total of 48 hours with 3 escapes. At first glance I thought this would be good however my hampster was able to get the top off, then the blue bubble at the bottom. Reason being is these pieces just slide into the spot, not enough tension to keep them there. I do not recommend this product.

Not for hamsters, gerbils, or multiple mice!

    By meganm620 on Oct 26, 2019

It's perfect for a loner female mouse, one unaltered male mouse (since unaltered males can't be put together or with females) or a quarantine/sick cage. It's way too small for any breed of hamster, gerbil, or more than one mouse to live in permanently. The wheel is also way too small for any of the 3 critters it's recommended for. It was a bit of a pain to put together. The instructions should be in color since the parts are easier to differentiate apart by color. It took me about 45 minutes to put together since some parts wouldn't fit nicely together without a lot or force or tinkering. Seems sturdy if your mouse isn't a chewer or tries to escape often. The water bottle works well and the bowl is large for a lot of food. Not a lot of room left though for toys or enrichment, so consider tossing food into the bedding so the mouse can search for it and be entertained that way. Also be sure to put wood chews in for their teeth and extra enrichment. I got this cage for my single mouse who wasn't getting along with her sisters. The hope is that she'll be here a few days, realize she's lonely, and then when I reintroduce her she'll behave. If all works well, this cage will then be used as a quarantine/sick cage. I replaced the wheel with a larger saucer for my mouse to run on. You can teach your mouse to use the tube by placing a treat in it and in the top compartment so they'll be encouraged to go up. … more

Great starter cage for small rodent

By KeeG on Oct 19, 2019

Easy Setup, simple to use, no complaints at all. Small So I wouldn't recommend for a full size hamster only a Dwarf species

    Awesome hamster cage!

By Annie on Jul 26, 2019

Our hamster loves his cage! He loves taking the tube up to the top nook and we love it because we can still see him when he’s hanging out up there. This was the 3rd of this cage we purchased for all 3 kids’ pets. Worthwhile purchase for sure!

    They love it

By CatsHamstersFerrets on Jul 25, 2019

I would have given a 5 star but the cage was kind of hard to put together. I think mine came bent because I had to force the parts in. Other than that I like it and my Hamsters love it, especially the green box.

Great cage but not big enough for full size hamster

By CDMK on Apr 8, 2019

This is a great cage that can be expanded and added to over time, but when I went to purchase my hamster I was told this cage would only accommodate dwarf hamsters or smaller animals. This wasn't a big deal, but beware if you are getting a full size hamster this cage is not the best, as I was told they can get caught in the tubes and become aggressive if there is not enough space. I do like how this cage comes with everything you need--food dish, water bottle, wheel--and has the removable upper compartment when you need to clean the cage.

    Cheap and hard to assemble

By ratmom on Apr 6, 2019

I bought this for a new pet mouse. It is made of pretty cheap parts, and it is difficult to assemble and take apart. It looks cute. I recommend spending your money on a different cage.
