When introducing a new food, begin with a mixture of "old and new" food, gradually increasing the amount of new food over a 7 - 10 day period. This will prevent digestive upset as well as allow your pet to adjust to the new food. For best results discard any uneaten portion and clean food dish before next feeding. Fresh water should be available at all times. The following feeding amounts can be used as a starting point for one pet. Adjust the portions to maintain proper weight and if additional pets are fed.

Parakeet crack!
By 80Koglin on Jan 26, 2021
Not sure what’s different about this than the Zupreme seeds I was buying but Skylar is Nuts about this seed blend! He actually shook his dish when he wanted more!! Never saw him do that before!! Yay!!!! This was an exchange for an accidental purchase of feed for bigger birds- Chewy handled it quickly and easily!!

Package open again!!!
By hd4baja on Dec 23, 2020
I don't know what goes on with this order. Sometimes it's ok, but most of the time, the bag has ripped open in transit. This time at least 1/4 of the bag was in the box and "cushioning" paper. The box really needs to be packed better so all the bumps don't burst the seams of the bag. I REALLY don't want to have to go back to having to get it from the Pet store, but this happens over and over again. Chewy is really good about responding and sending me a new bag, but that doesn't solve the problem. They need to pack it better and it wouldn't keep happening!

Thought they would like it
By Ashley on Feb 20, 2021
I bought this food to add some variety to their diet but they refuse to eat the colorful bits! They only want to eat the seed. So I'm going to switch back to kaytee supreme after we got through this bag

NO NO NO NO!
By Belton on Jan 31, 2021
No just no! SEEDS in general are TREATS. Not a complete diet. Wild birds such as parakeets and other birds can burn of seed calories in the wild, but in captivity they are very limited to exercise.

My boys love this!
By My3ParakeetSons on Jan 7, 2021
My 3 boys, father and 2 sons love this food. They prefer it over any other brand. It has some added goodies without having too many additives. They protest when I buy any other blends. Apparently they are egg-cited!

Birdseed always fresh and in-stock
By Evie on Jan 12, 2021
Fiesta birdseed products are ALWAYS fresh and in-stock on Chewy.com unlike at local petstores---either 'out of stock' or pretty old inventory/not fresh? And Chewy.com is ALWAYS QUICK DELIVERY--!!!

Needs better packaging
By Nick on Feb 24, 2021
The bag had gotten torn in the box- seed everywhere. Maybe you would consider a protective wrapping for fragile items.

perfect For The Family
By family4 on Dec 5, 2020
Perfect Price and food . The only bad thing the birdie bag food always seems to come with a hole , this might not be chewy fault but it does suck getting that food all over. But always satisfied with our chewy orders.
