Bag ripped open
When I opened my chewy box and began to pull items out, I noticed that my guinea pigs food was spilled all over the box and there was a big year in the side of the bag.
Not good for guinea pigs
This food should not be given to guinea pigs. Their dainty diet should be hay, fresh veggies, and plain pellets. When given mixes like this, they don’t eat the pellets and only go for the other goodies. Stick with Oxbow for quality pig care
My piggies love this
My guinea pigs actually squeal very loudly when their pellet bowls are empty. (The vet says not to give them too much, however.)

Guinea pigs just pick at it don’t actually eat it unless they don’t get food for a while
Best Customer Service Ever
Our beloved guinea pig of 5 years passed away, so I contacted Chewy to return my order. Was able to return with no problem, and received the kindest message from Craig W in customer service and flowers! The thoughtfulness brought tears to my eyes, and meant so much to our family. Some people might not understand and think, oh it's just a guinea pig, but you did! We will be Chewy customers for life. Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtfulness in our loss.
Mix Variety Changed
We’ve been using this brand and type for years but our last shipment had two new bags with the same SKU but were a completely different mix filled with sunflower and other seeds. The larger pieces my girls would eat are no longer in the mix. Complete waste because they wouldn’t eat this new version. Chewy should update the photos because it’s a completely different product.
junk food - it’s just bird seed
I bought this because some Guineas I got on nextdoor were eating this but this is total garbage and not like the same mix they had. It is irresponsible and unhealthy to feed guinea pigs seeds everyday. We have gotten birdseed from kaytee and always trusted them but now I wonder what they know about the animals they market to. Seems like they just repackage the same mix to everyone and slap a different animal on the outside of the bag. No quality control.
Bag full of seeds
We've bought this bag in every auto ship. Our guinea pig has a severe UTI and upon examining his food I realized it's all seeds. -I buy the food and my kids are in charge of caring for our guinea so unfortunately that was an oversight my part. The bag says it's for guinea pigs but nothing looks right inside.
