Adjust portions for proper weight maintenance and when feeding additional pets. Discard any uneaten food and clean dish before each feeding.
When introducing a new food, begin with a mixture of "old and new" food, gradually increasing the amount of new food over a 7 - 10 day period. This will prevent digestive upsets as well as allowing your pet to adjust to something new.
I have 3 tame pet bunnies and they would not eat this food. So, we tried to feed it to the outside wild bunnies, squirrels or birds, whoever would eat it and after weeks, it is still sitting outside. They won't eat it at all.
My rabbit, who is a fairly voracious eater and will chase the dogs away to get at their food, hates this stuff. He throws it around his cage and picks out the colorful bits and leaves the majority of it behind. I'm dealing with a horrible fly issue because just a week after cleaning his cage there's enough left over food for the flies to breed in. Do not recommend.
What is going on Kaytee? Getting fewer and fewer colored bits per bag. These pieces supposedly contain the extra nutrients for his diet and of course they're his favorite. I've gone through three bags just to pick the pieces out. What's the deal?
My rescue rabbit Sugars loves this food and it doesn't cause his tummy any upset, at all, certainly appreciated the extremely fast shipping!
Only the best for my rabbits. They absolutely love this food. I shake it and they come running everytime.
These pellets provide extra nutrients -- and our rabbit LOVES them!
The bunnies like these very much and it's good for them too.
We have about 30 wild bunnies and when I go out and feed them, they come hopping up to me. They love the pellets!
My rabbit is a diva when it comes to food. She always eats the treats and nothing else for multiple brands I’ve tried. I’ve tried more expensive ones and she still refused to eat it. This is the first & only brand I found she will eat the pellets and the little treats in there. Of course, she always goes for the treats first then eats the pellets. But that’s okay because she eats a very consistent amount of it. Combine this diet with kale, and some hay… one happy bunny <3
my rabbit absolutely loves this rabbit food! She prefers this over any other kind
