Bad Food. Read below.
For the longest time, I was buying this food for my 4 ferrets. At first, I thought it was truly amazing and they loved it. However, I just recently lost 2 ferrets, and the 2 remaining ones are still very much in a bad spot. This food is really bad for their diets. You go from having a healthy ferret with an amazing coat to hair loss started on the tail. Afterwards, some hair starts coming off of the back. It causes the disease in ferrets called “Insulinoma”. Definitely do more research on it as a ferret owner. But this is not a good food. The sugar levels are terrible in this product. You should not feed your ferrets this. It places them in a coma and it causes death.

BAD FOR FERRETS HEALTH
Please read the ingredients and do research before buying food for your ferret. You ferret might eat this and seem happy but they are unhealthy and would be happier on a diet their body can actually break down!
This food is trash
it holds no nutritional value for ferrets t all. These little guys are obligated carnivores but they food is mostly plant based. Feeding anything other than a meat based diet can cause cancer. There are better choices out there that this trash.
Don’t buy this food
Please do research on a ferrets proper diet. Ferrets are obligate carnivores meaning they eat solely meat. That being said, this product has so much grain you are bound to have major health issues. 1) poor baby doesn’t deserve that and 2) vet bills are pricey, avoid that. I recommend looking into better brands. Marshall’s premium diet is not the greatest either but it is way better than this. Ideally feed raw or wysong ferret epigen 90.
Do not feed to ferrets
Please make sure you do your research into ferret diets. This is not a good quality dry kibble to feed ferrets. This can cause kidney issues that include kidney stones. DO NOT FEED
Larva in food
I found hard black chunks (not sure what they were) and the shells of larvae in this food. I bought multiple bags and found these in each one. No surprise my little guy turned up with parasites. I've since gotten him switched to another food and am happy to say he's doing much better. I will never buy from this brand again.
