It’s much bigger pieces than what I wanted. I was looking for a very fine grit. Not sure if you have that but what I got it too big for my budgie.
parakeets do not need grit or gravel
on Dec 16, 2020
Budgies do not need gravel or grit because they remove the outer hull of the seed before ingesting the kernel. ... However, now we know that only birds like pigeons and doves that consume seeds whole, without removing the outer hull, need gravel to help them digest.

I could not find anything acceptable here. This was so easy.
They don't really need it

Not only do they not eat it, I don't believe they even need it. Please research if your bird needs grit in their diet. This is meant to be a calcium supplement but it is still grit. I did put it in their chop to get them to try it but there is no telling if they are actually eating it. Having a cuttlebone is about as, or more effective.
I'm very happy with it all

I'm very happy with it all, especially the joint supplement. My little chiweenie just turned 12 and his arthritis isn't bothering him hardly at all - he acts like a pup when he romps. The stuff really works!!

This is a new supplement for our parakeets (there are approx. 55 of them). It has a lot of good healthy ingredients in it.
