    Breaks Down to Fine Crumbles

    This product has perfectly sized pellets so that my pet rats can "handle" one and nibble on it. Unfortunately, be it from Chewy or my local pet store, the shipping alone will cause those pellets to "fall apart" and turn into a powder. It becomes inedible for the critters. Not quite 1/4th of the product has to be pitched. Birds would probably benefit from that powder, but only if they're a fan. I much prefer to use Oxbow's diet for adult rats. It's high quality and does not turn into a powder either. I will continue using this one, as I can't always afford buying the Oxbow brand. … more

    Mice hate it

    The pet store was all out of oxbow and this was the only other food they sold marketed for mice. Well, the mice hate it. With oxbow, I had to refill their bowls every day because they ate all their pellets. With this, the bowl would still be full and the blocks only half chewed.
