Ferrets eating this food ok
Not really sure if they love it but they are eating it after trying several different ferret and cat foods.
Only food that doesn’t upset my ferrets stomach
I have gone back and forth with this food. The company kept sending crushed up pellets so I tried changing my ferrets food. I tried 3 types within a couple months and every single one made my ferret sick (I was even buying the top rated and most expansive ones). As soon as he was back on this food, all stomach and GI problems went away. This is hands down the only food that works for my ferret and I definitely recommend.
HEALTH WARNING
If you are a potential customer I would highly recommend you do research on a food that does NOT contain PEAS. Peas are proven to cause health problems in ferrets. Ferrets only need meat. Raw is the best diet but ferrets need access to food so even then I would want a kibble to leave out in between meals. I wish there was a mouse/rabbit ferret formula. KAYTEE PLEASE redo your formula without pea flour or pea of any kind. Your pricing is great and that could really do well for your business. thank you.
Ferret wouldn't touch it
I don't recommend this ferret food. My grandferret wouldn't touch it.
Research the ingredients
This is not healthy for ferrets. This company needs to adjust the formula. It has peas in it.
Fantastic...loves loves loves it
Our ferret Boothie loves this. We put a little of his liquid mix on it for his stinkyness and he gobbles it up. We even put treats at the bottom as a surprise....
Do Not Buy
Ferrets are Obligate Carnivores meaning they exclusively and can only eat meat. Since when did Beet Pulp count as a meat? Never. So please if you are considering adopting or bringing a ferret make sure you can afford the proper food.
Broken pieces
My ferrets like this food but when I opened the bag about one third of the back was crumpled pieces.

The pricing is great, a lot of ferret food is overpriced and this is a great price for the amount of food you get. The nutrition is great so the ferret gets a lot of the stuff it needs to be healthy. I'm extremely grateful I found this because it's healthy for my ferret and my wallet.
