Young Ferret (6 - 11 weeks): 1/2 cup to 1 cup dry food softened with warm water to improve ease of eating for younger ferrets. Replace or remove remaining softened food after 2 - 4 hours. Keep dry food available during this period of the animal’s life to aid in converting to the dry - only diet, at around age 12 weeks.
Adolescent and Adult Ferret: 1/2 cup to 1 cup.
Due to a ferret's rapid metabolism, high - quality food and fresh water should be available at all times. Adjust the amount of food provided depending on your ferret's age, weight and activity level.
If this food is new to your ferret, it may take a few days to acclimate, so slowly add to its diet over several days by blending the old and new foods.

HEALTH WARNING
By Ferrant on Feb 17, 2021
If you are a potential customer I would highly recommend you do research on a food that does NOT contain PEAS. Peas are proven to cause health problems in ferrets. Ferrets only need meat. Raw is the best diet but ferrets need access to food so even then I would want a kibble to leave out in between meals. I wish there was a mouse/rabbit ferret formula. KAYTEE PLEASE redo your formula without pea flour or pea of any kind. Your pricing is great and that could really do well for your business. thank you.

Fantastic...loves loves loves it
By Boothies on Feb 24, 2021
Our ferret Boothie loves this. We put a little of his liquid mix on it for his stinkyness and he gobbles it up. We even put treats at the bottom as a surprise....

This is not healthy for ferrets. This company needs to adjust the formula. It has peas in it.

Do Not Buy
By Lily on Nov 25, 2020
Ferrets are Obligate Carnivores meaning they exclusively and can only eat meat. Since when did Beet Pulp count as a meat? Never. So please if you are considering adopting or bringing a ferret make sure you can afford the proper food.

10/10 recommend
By Trinity on Jul 31, 2020
The pricing is great, a lot of ferret food is overpriced and this is a great price for the amount of food you get. The nutrition is great so the ferret gets a lot of the stuff it needs to be healthy. I'm extremely grateful I found this because it's healthy for my ferret and my wallet.

Kaytee Ferret Food
By Debbie on Apr 5, 2020
My ferrets love this brand and flavor of food. It's not expensive and I've tried the expensive brands and they will not eat it. This food may not have all the ideal ingredients but they love it and I mix it with all natural cat food.
