    Impractical

By TraciB on Mar 10, 2020

Unfortunately these were an epic fail for my guinea pigs. Neither of them wanted to use them. They seemed difficult for my piggies to get their hay out. They became frustrated and just pulled them off of the sides of their cages. Stuck with two items we will never use again.

    Dont buy this

By LilPeep on Oct 4, 2019

I bought this for my 2 guinea pigs. It's always falling down because the hooks are pathetic. The lid is bendy, and the 'snap lock' neither snaps nor locks. The lid will not close properly if there is any amount of hay under it-which is an incredible design failure/oversight in my opinion. This hay cage will stay up for a couple of hours, but the guinea pigs ultimately yank it down when they try to get the hay out. Also, the bars of the hay cage are so close together, the pigs have trouble even getting the hay out. I like the green color I bought- but that's it's only redeeming factor.

    Feeder ill designed

By lops on Oct 21, 2019

So wish I hadn't wasted $ on this...lt was difficult to get the lid on but it did not stay on well, would not stay attached to cage. my lops just mushed it to the back of the cage... repeatedly. Total fail

    I wasn’t thrilled

By ZooMama on Oct 15, 2019

Honestly, I wasn’t thrilled with this at all. It kept falling off the side of the cage. I had to secure it with something and the snap on lid doesn’t work. I feel bad saying this, but, It’s just really not worth getting.

    Piggies didn’t approve

By Danielle on Sep 11, 2019

Not very useful. It’s pretty small and doesn’t hold a lot. My piggies seemed to have a hard time getting the hay out. Also because it has no solid back, hay was going everywhere on the floor. Doesn’t clip well to the Midwest piggy cage. I took it out. Looking to try something else at this time.

    Don't bother!

    By MomofSweetie on Aug 1, 2019 top500Contributor

The grid pattern is just too small for a human to slide the hay into the container to use as a feeder, unless you want to spend all day loading it, strand by strand. It looks cute but it is incredibly difficult to place the hay inside. DO NTO RECOMMEND.

    plastic feeder

    By NZLucky13 on Aug 13, 2019

Good concept however they do not stay put on the cage sides for our rabbits and is a soft enough plastic that the rabbits just destroyed it within two months

    Could be better

By nholloman on May 30, 2019

I got this for my bunny and she couldnt eat the hay out of it because the slots were so small. We ended up cutting a couple of the plastic bars out so she could get into it. Also it just hangs on the cage. Theres not actually anything holding it on there. Only thing I really like about it was the lid. But it still keeps from wasting hay which is why I wanted one

    Needs wider slot opening

By Kelly on Jun 26, 2019

Easy to clean and fill, but I ended up cutting every other plastic slot to make it easier for my piggies to get their hay out on the two racks I bought before. Just bought a third one for my baby while she's in quarantine.
