I ordered this for my rabbit who likes to tip his food bowl. The quality on this is great, but the bowl section is extremely deep. It looked a good size from the picture, but when I gave it to my rabbit, he could not reach his head inside to get his food. I had to add layers of cardboard to the bottom of the bowl to bring the food up to a level where he could reach it. It works just fine now, but I would just buy a hay feeder and clip-on food bowl separately.

Great design, but the material, even though hard plastic or resin, is easily chewed by rabbits. After one day, one rabbit has chewed almost the whole edge down. They have chew sticks to chew on & some rabbits don’t bother it, so I guess it depends on the rabbit. It would be nice if this design came in metal. The only metal feeders have a sift screen, so some feed falls through.

It came broken which is why I gave it a 4 stars. One of the clips was lose and wouldn't hold up the feeder but I contacted chewy and they sent one right away. Thor my bunny loves this. He tries to lay on top which is funny but I have stopped him and no he eats his food from the bottom part like a big boy. Great buy!
Does what it says

I just wished it was a little bit bigger but that could have been on me. Sometimes my bunney seems to have trouble getting the hay out unless I pull most of it out to the point where it's almost falling out. But I overall enjoyed this product.
A bit small for my buns.

It's pretty small, but I like the carabineers. I'd say for animals smaller than rabbits, it would work great!
wasted grove space

What I didn't like about this feeder, the hay would fall in the grove space just below the fourth bar area. My bunny tried to get the hay that was trapped in that lower grove area, but he couldn't get to the hay. The spacing between the two lower bars could be a little wider and eliminate that grove area below the fourth bar. That grove area is wasted space that just traps the hay.
Best Feeder Ever!

Absolutely recommend this feeder. Keeps their food clean and dry and it is very sturdy so will last for years!
Nifty for guinea pigs

I like the locking mechanism, my pigs always tear the gate off. I don't like how deep the food well is, it'd be inefficient to fill it because you're suppose to change their pellets several times a day so they don't get stale. Also unsure how they're suppose to eat the hay at the bottom of the rack since it's a well too.. probably have to wash once a week so it doesn't get nasty
Love the caged hay idea, just don't like the wells at all. Figured the food well would have been much less deep, and didn't realize there was a well for the hay.
Just like the photo

This is honestly the perfect feeder. The hay actually lasts instead of being strewn across the habitat floor. It gives my piggies a bit of extra exercise having to reach or climb for the hay, and more stimulation finding their perfect piece lol. It being able to hold food in the bottom also frees up floor space, giving more room for my two boys to run around. I'm hoping to buy a second for my second habitat in the near future!
