This high-energy food source is a favorite among bluebirds, wrens, robins, chickadees, woodpeckers, cardinals and many songbirds that are hard to attract with the average seed blend. Dried mealworms have the nutritional value of live mealworms and are more convenient to feed. You can use them alone in a feeder or mix them with your favorite wild bird seed.

The birds love these, they’re gone in no time when I put them out. Love the idea of rehydrating that another reviewer mentioned, I’m going to try it!
The robins on their way south are loving the mealworm for their journey
All the birds rejected it. I have couple of feeders and all the seeds are gone but the mealworm are there. I have chickadee, titmouse, cardinals, Bluejay, bluebirds, doves, house sparrow, common starling and a little grey, black-and-white feather friend. No clue what kind he is but he didn't eat it either. Luckily, got chickens adjacent soo I threw it to them but never buying this again. Even if on sale. Nope! #chewyteamrated.
I rehydrate 1-2 tablespoons a day in a jar with water and put the mealworms out for the birds a few hours later. We get red headed woodpeckers, mockingbirds, robins, bluebirds, thrashers, towhees, and countless other birds who love these worms.
Mealworms are great nesting birds. Mealworms were hard to find this year. It's a great protein for nesting birds. Chewy came through again. Thanks Chewy!
good price for quantity and quality
This took awhile to buy. I knew my birds would love it! A FB page I followed swore birds love this. Me, I'm not really fond of the idea of worms (dead or alive). Finally bought. Have attracted a bunch of birds to my feeder (have to go into my feeder with the camera). When I add the mealworms to the mix, I pretty much pretend they don't exist. Has a small "meaty" odor but very mild. The amount in this size package is perfect as it doesn't take a lot. And, they are dead, so no movement (that would totally freak me out, so...). And, I like that it is resealable.
I add a small amount to my birdseed stations. The birds love them during mating/egg laying season.
My ducks and chicks love them and so far it’s the best deal I’ve found on them. Thanks for making my feathered babies happy!
Delivery in two days is unheard of. I buy three types of bird seed from you and the birds love it.
