Birds are intelligent and treats are a great way to keep your bird active, encourage foraging, alleviate stress and prevent boredom and behaviors associated with inactivity
Ideal for all large and small hookbills
Hang it in your bird's cage or allow your bird to hold the spray in his feet and pluck the millet from it to give him an enriching activity that mimics what birds do in the wild
This premium, low-fat treat can be offered to your bird daily
For best results, hang a spray of millet by a clip or insert in a holder near a perch or in an easily accessible location. It is best to keep the millet off the bottom of the cage where it may become contaminated. Replace weekly or more frequently if desired. Do not allow your bird to eat only spray millet. The majority of its diet should consist of 1 of Kaytee's nutritionally fortified diets. Store in a cool, dry location.
I have two parakeets that absolutely love these. I give them to my birds about once a week as a treat and they continue to eat them for a few days as they are quite large compared to my birds. (They're probably about a parakeet-and-a-half in height, lol). Both of my birds are rescues and are still getting socialized with people, but will practically climb on my hands to get to these when they are put in their cage. If you are looking for something your bird will completely enjoy, then this is the product for you. I know my birds give it two excited wings up.
BETTER PROTECTIVE PACKAGING NEEDED WITH THIS FRAGILE ITEM

the treats were all crushed up by banging around in an oversized box with no protective cushioning for shipping. Literally, all is virtually loose seed and not in the stick forms they should be on. just to let you know what happened. I did not have the time to call you but since this review page is here, I thought I would do so. I would not order again unless I knew that this issue has been solved. thanks, cheryl

We've used this brand a lot for our parakeet. Usually there's not an issue - but this time when we opened our Chewy box the bag was opened all the way. That's the only reason why there are three stars.
She’s really crazy for these

My budgie loooooves the millets. The only problem I seemed to have was with the shipping, as the bag was ripped and there were millets all over the box. Other than that they’re perfect!
My cockatiel loves it!

My cockatiel loves it!
He becomes really chatty when he sees the bag! Doesn’t shut up till he gets his treat! Great value for the size of bag you receive.
Birds love it

My birds love this brand of millet, but when received the millet was shipped with dog food and i think that's why the millet was crushed. A lot of the millet was on the bottom of the bag.
Nothing but seeds

The millet I ordered for my budgie arrived a mess and unuseable. I had to throw away. All seeds were off the twig and laying looses in the bag.

My two female cockatiels, Pearl and Zuki, were not raised with a lot of human interaction and they don't really like it. So when I want to do something special for them, I give them something they love, Kaytee Millet Sprays. The millet is always fresh and they tear right into it!
Crushed Millet :(

I haven’t bought a lot of these lately but these are really good. Bird is just eating them up.
