Feeding Instructions

For best results, hang a spray of millet by a clip or insert in a holder near a perch or in an easily accessible location. It is best to keep the millet off the bottom of the cage where it may become contaminated. Replace weekly or more frequently if desired. Do not allow your bird to eat only spray millet. The majority of its diet should consist of one of Kaytee's nutritionally fortified diets. Store in a cool, dry location.

  • Millet didn't Fill-it!

    By on

You would think that millet is all basically the same product throughout the world. I know there are different ' kinds ' of millet. I ordered your regular type of millet and it looked good when I took it out of the package. Guess what? My 8 year old Parrotlet( dwarf parrot) named Bogie refuses to even try it. I always keep a sprig in his cage as a treat. He nibbles on millet here and there. I offered to hand feed him some of your millet and he won't even try. He turns his head! He never refuses food by hand! I tried the other millet that I already had and he eats it like candy. I smelled your product and it smelled like the other brand, so I do not think there is something 'foul' on it You would think that millet is all basically the same product throughout the world. I have never seen this before. David and Bogie. … more

  • Decent Treat

    By on

This millet is not bad, and depending on his mood, my cockatiel eats it. However, because of the air holes in the bag, it does make a mess in the Chewy box.

  • Need Bulk Millet for Rescue

    By on

Only drawback is need bulk packaging of millet for bird rescue instead of small pacakges for 1 or 2 birds. Would be interested in larger packages with some price break for buying in bulk.

  • One bag was torn open

    By on

We ordered two bags of the millet for the birds. They arrived in time, but one of the bags was torn open, and the seeds were all over the box and dropped out of the box through the gaps. We hope it won't happen again.

  • they love this millet

    By on

my birds love millet and only the plain one. I bought the fruit flavored last time and they never touched it. I ended up giving it to the outside birds and they don't seem that interested either.
