  • My Mice LOVE These!!!

    By on

I purchased one of these for my group of 5 lil girlies, and they LOVED IT. They would always chew on it and tug on it, to get that nutty. They are smart and cute, they pulled the sticks out instead of chewing the way through (even though they did chew on the toy.) However, my luck wasn't the same for my hamsters, as each ham rejected it. But, you can still try. I HIGHLY recommend the "Nut Knot Nibbler" to all mice & their owners!

  • Great...for a few hrs!

Gave this to my chinchilla before I went to bed, when I woke up it was in pieces! And there wasn't an almond in it, which might explain taking it apart, but there was a ball that didn't even have a bell! I came to the site to write a review and decided to read some reviews first. I read that many people put them back together, so I thought I'd try that first. Well, that didn't work out at all! Apparently his favorite parts to chew were the little rods holding it together. I tried anyway, thinking I could at least get it together enough to make a smaller one. Nope. Every time I put some together and turned it, the pieces slid right off! Finally I gave up and put all the pieces back in his Gave this to my chinchilla before I went to bed, when I woke up it was in pieces! Finally I gave up and put all the pieces back in his cage where he left them. He had chewed on some of the colored wood pieces a little, but I'm not sure if he did that before finding that it came apart or after. We'll see....maybe I'll buy another and put non-toxic glue at the openings where the rods go in and see what happens since he obviously liked it... … more

  • Very Fun And Enriching

    By on

I saw other reviews saying that this toy falls apart a lot but that has not been a problem with me. My hamster likes this toy and seems to have fun trying to get the nut out. The reason behind this toy sometimes falling apart is because it is connected by pegs instead of glue. Honestly I would rather have a toy that sometimes comes loose than have a toy that is glued together and unsafe for your pet. Overall this is a pretty good product and it is a nice size for all small pets.

  • Rats love this!

    By on

I have 3 rats all under 6 months old and as soon as I put this in their cage they went nuts for it. The thing that gets me is this product says it contains a real nut.. That's not true. It does contain a little round piece if wood in the middle non dyed with a hole that goes through. This toy does come apart very easily. The rats really enjoy it though so that is the reason it gets 3 stars because I've been searching for something they will chew on for entertainment. I will order more.

  • Great Chew Toy

    By on

My bunnies loved this chew toy. They all ran to it when I put it in their living quarters. They pulled all the tiny sticks out so the big "logs" came undone. Then they each took their choice "log" and happily chewed it for hours. It's been almost a month and there are still plenty left for them to enjoy.

  • Kind of cheap

    By on

I bought this for my Rabbit to chew on. He isn’t much of a chewer as it turns out but he does chew a little and one of the orange pieces came out and broke within the first day of owning the toy. It is very cheaply made.

  • My hamster loves this

This toy is so great. When I first got this I thought it was a little big but my hamster enjoys playing with this so much. She enjoys pulling the sticks out and chewing on the logs! Definitely recommend.

  • Wooden Ball

I bought two of these and the ball sizes were different. One was as advertised, but the other was so small that it came right out the center of the toy.

  • Very Fun Toy, Just Be Prepared to Reassemble It

    By on

A very fun and interesting shape for chewing and fidgeting bunnies. It's more entertaining that a dumb old stick, and can even have a treat stuffed into the middle! Since it is constructed with nothing more than friction holding the wood together, however, it does lend itself to being dismantled in a short period of time. If you're not good with puzzles, legos, or models, you are not going to enjoy trying to reassemble this thing, and will be left with little more than a pile of sticks after a few days. But, if you are good, or can get good at putting it together, it can almost be a little game you and your bunny play: bunny takes it apart, and human puts it together!

  • Great Chew Toy

This is a visually attractive chew toy for my rats. They are slowly taking it apart and keeping their incisors trimmed at the same time.
