My chinchilla loves this toy. They don’t last long with him. But totally worth it.

My chinchillas don't really care for the chews themselves, they end up on the bottom of their cage after they chew through the wooden stick that holds them. I have to get a bird hanger then put chinchilla chew toys on it.

My chinchilla generally powers through toys in a day or so, but this one lasted almost three months. That's partially because she couldn't figure out how to hold it and chew on it for the first few weeks, but once she got the hang of it, she really enjoyed it. The various shapes of wood seem to be an especially fun feature for her. She doesn't seem to quite grasp how to work with the ball and pear shapes, which makes it a fun challenge. She has now completely disassembled it, so all the pieces are in varying states of destruction around her cage.

We have 2 chinchillas. They love getting new toys. We like to get the wood refills for this particular toy. It hangs on the side of the cage so it stays clean, but it doesn't last long so get a few!

They periodically chew on it and the one who can't see well runs into it, but it does provide entertainment for them, which is all I ask. It's also still surviving unlike anything on the floor of the cage or they can reach near the cage.

Unfortunately this didn’t stand up to much chewing. Within a couple of hours the whole thing collapsed. I’m not sure if this particular one was faulty or the wood used is too soft

My chinchilla really loves her new toy. The only thing I would do different is look for one that has a metal stem holding it together. Penelope chewed the wooden rod in two the first day.

My chinchilla chewed the rope that connected all the pieces together in a couple hours.

Animals were able to chew through in seconds leaving pieces scattered and untouched

I got these for the first time. They were a good price. They are quite big so the chinchillas can't chew them up so easily. Ones i have purchased in the past were gone by the next day. These would even be good for bigger animals that need to chew to keep their teeth shorter.
