Door doesn't stay shut

This ball is the perfect size for my chinchilla. However, the door doesn't actually shut. Also, the slits let the poop fall through.

Buyer beware...plastic a bit too flexible (nothing like my past balls), my rat escaped !!! Not to mention, the light does not work...
