Kaytee Sleep-E-Tent Ferret Convertible Hideout, 11-in

Thought this looked super cute could be a tent or hammock. Used one time and washed once. I change out bedding every 3 days and have 1 ferret who doesn't even use hammocks. It started shredding. I get after a few washes or multiple ferrets using but neither of those happened. Will never buy this brand again

Our rats really enjoyed the hammock thingie but they tore it to shreds in just a couple of days. I don't recommend this thing for extreme chewers. It would be fine for a ferret that doesn't chew everything, tho!

I was worried at first that they wouldn’t be able to get inside (one of my piggies has a chonky butt) but they can get in and out with ease and it’s a nice little hidey for them!

I've never ordered from Chewy before, but was very excited to! Unfortunately, I probably won't again. The hammock I ordered for my ferret was not great quality. The fluffy liner was shedding so bad (in the package) and one whole side was ripped. So there's a large hole where the liner is not even connected. I had to reorder from a different company.

So it’s a pretty cool hammock but I don’t like it any other way. My ferrets didn’t need another hammock. When I use it zipped up it doesn’t “stand” the top sinks due to the weight of the zippers mostly. So I tried to hang it zipped closed. That did not work either. When my ferret climbed in it made a hanging diamond lol. I tried really hard but I’ll donate it to the ferret shelter.

I read the reviews of the product and was very hyped to get the hanging bed for my ratters! It came in, I hung it up all nice.... and they're scared to go in it. It's in tent mode now, so maybe that's why they're not impressed. I did lay it down so they could sniff it and lay in it, but they were more interested in pulling it apart. It's a well made product, as described, but rats may be unimpressed... save your money and get a perch fastened with four safety pins if you're hesitating!

I have three ferrets and one of them in particular likes to dig into the hammocks. This is the longest lasting hammock I’ve ever purchased. Most of them I need to replace within three months. This one lasts 6-9. They don’t prefer the tent variation and would rather it be wide open unzipped. The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t select the color. The first one was green and my second was hot pink. I think it’s random but I wish I could pick the color. Other than that great product.

My ferrets tent was getting old plus wanting to wash it every month, I needed a backup so I bought this!! They love it!!

I bought this for my ferret because he tore apart his hammock. He still digs in this and rips out the bottom fluff, but he uses it way more then his hammock. And so far the tent is still in pretty good condition. I apologise for the poor picture quality, Oscar never stops moving when he's awake

The design is a bit difficult. The zipper mechanism is not best how I would use it since when zipped up it is too flimsy and just falls with a dip. I have it opened which I think is best. If it had some type of inner platform when zipped up it would help much more to keep the shape.
