What size should I get for my pet hedgehog?

On average, an adult hedgehog typically measures between 5 to 8 inches long. With that in mind, the Large hideout would be recommended.
Is the plastic safe for gerbils or will it get chewed through?

This hideout is suitable for use with a wide range of small pets, including gerbils. It is possible for small animals to chew on the hideout however, most don't.

The opening for the Itty Bitty is approximately 2 ¼ X 2 ¼ inches. The opening for the Mini is approximately 3 X 2 ¼ inches. The opening for the Large is approximately 3 ½ X 4 ½ inches. The opening for the Giant is approximately 5 ½ X 6 ¾ inches.

Nice and roomy

Good quality igloo. I got the giant size for my Guinea pig. It does take up quite a bit of room in her enclosure but the interior of the igloo gives her lots of room to be comfortable and to grow in. I did expand her enclosure to accommodate this size igloo so if you do decide to go with this size make sure you have the room for it with room leftover for your small animal to be able to run around and not be cramped.

Ferrets love it

I bought this for my ferrets and they absolutely love it. It's such a simple design but definitely worth the money for their entertainment.

Big enough for three guineas

I had the next size down. My big guinea filled the thing. This jumbo, I think they call it, is great. Now, she has plenty of room.

Small Animal Igloo

you really can never tell how small/large the items will be. This was the perfect size for guinea pigs and small bunnies. Nice and sturdy and decent price. I ordered all these items for a donation for my local SPCA that acquires guinea pigs and rabbits.

Igloo hideout

I ordered two, one for each guinea pig. Love the size cause they both can fit inside one igloo if they choose as they often do ..traveling back and forth from cage to cage. (I have two cages side by side)

first time ordering

This was my first time ordering from Chewy. Overall the products are great! Shipping was fast! I am satisfied with my experience. However, I was under the impression that I was getting a pink hide, instead it was blue. Not a huge deal. But they should put a section where we can pick the colors that we prefer. Still a happy shopper!

Great for enrichment

I got this for my rats and they prefer to sleep in hammocks, but I stuff this full of paper and treats and they go crazy digging through it all. It's great quality for the price!
