I was excited to try this but not worth it, especially for price

    By on

I have many feeders in my yard and was excited to get this. First problem is the holes are large and seed falls through very easily but was willing to find perfect seed for it. Second problem is my squirrels can still get to it without any help from branches. I wouldn't mind except they pull the mesh sock off and birdseed then is all in my yard. I was very disappointed in this product especially for the price.

    Finches Love It

    By on

I have several different styles of finch feeder hanging in a tree and this feeder seems to be a favorite. There will be more birds on this feeder and less on the others. I like the easy refill at the top, sooo much easier than trying to hold a funnel in a sock. Plus when the socks go bad you can get replacements!

    Nice looking but

That’s as far as that goes. Finches Love Nyjer Seed but it Falls out as fast as your port in the Feeder. The Neting it’s too large. Would not recommend buying it.

    good idea; quality an issue

    By on

I've used finch feeding socks for years and no matter what the finches dig em. I liked the IDEA of exchangeable bags...keep the plastic business and replace the sock when necessary. This one came with two socks. The little rubber band/bungee around the upper opening of the first sock I tried broke as I was installing it. Maybe that's why it comes with two. The second sock was fine. It's working great. If anything, it's a little TOO long, but you can choke up on the hanging wire. Overall a good product. I'll be reordering the replacement socks. If there's a repeat on the broken band, I'll keep you posted.

    Loving this little finch feeder

Easy to assemble and the birds love it! The hanger is quite long so be sure you have a high place to hang it from.
