Feed 2 - 4 tablespoons daily. Adjust portions for proper weight maintenance and when feeding additional pets. Discard any uneaten food and clean dish before each feeding.
When introducing a new food, begin with a mixture of old and new food, gradually increasing the amount of new food over a 7 - 10 day period. This will prevent digestive upsets as well as allow your pet to adjust to something new.

Very basic low quality seed
By LaylaBazillion on Dec 12, 2020
I used this in a pinch to mix in another seed I had to buy since Chewy stopped carrying the food I really needed for my birds and the prices on the other Higgins have gone up so high that it’s not smart or practical to buy for people with a lot of birds. It is one of the lowest quality seeds you can buy and is very basic. The last bag I bought had very old dusty or even moldy sunflower seeds, will not be purchasing again.

My cockatiels love to eat this food. But for completed nutrition ,better provide egg food. Recommend to buy this food for regular and daily use.

Natural food
By Sujeep on Sep 6, 2020
I would have given this five stars but it had way too many large black sunflower seeds so there was too much waste otherwise I am impressed with the fact that it is all natural no artificial flavors or colors which I prefer for my cockatiels

Great Food
By Storm on Apr 27, 2020
I've been raising Cockatiels, Love birds and Exhibition English Show Budgies for years. There is hardly ever any waste. My cockatiels really like this food. I always provide pellets for added nutrition in separate cups. I appreciate Chewy's commitment to feed all of my animals. Their service is bar none......

Hole in bag
By Jackie on Apr 30, 2020
I have ordered. Many times my birds absolutely love it most of the time the orders come to my satisfaction this time there was a hole in the back of bird seed and it went all in the Box it's disappointing to pay for a product and then half of it be leaked out there was no way for the bag to be popped during shipping there was nothing sharp in the box so this had to have been put in knowing there was a hole in the bag. Wouldn't let me posted a pic I tried 2 times

WAY WAY TOO MANY BLACK SUNFLOWER SEEDS.....UNHEALTHY!
By Marcy on Mar 3, 2020
I agree with a few other reviews saying "too many sunflower seeds." When I opened the bag I couldn't believe how many black sunflower seeds of every size, from big to teeny, were in there. And not even the good grey/white sunflower seeds which are ok to include a few or for a treat when training. Most long-time bird owners know not to feed their precious birds a surplus of sunflower seeds as they are basically fat and can cause fatty tumors. I didn't sign up to have to stand there and pick out the seeds for hours. I ended up diluting the mix by half with good pellets and parakeet seed so it wasn't a total loss. And still most of the seed mix ended up on the floors of the cages as the birds I agree with a few other reviews saying "too many sunflower seeds."
