I'm looking for a good travel cage for my parrotlet, and was wondering what the bar spacing is on this??? He's smaller than a parakeet.

The bar spacing for this carrier is approximately 1 inch and is not suitable for hamsters.
I have a small Guinea pig, is this ok to use for a 2 day vacation?

The dimensions of this carrier are 12.4 x 7.5 x 6.9 inches. We suggest measuring your pet to see if they will fill comfortably with food and water in the carrier.

Plenty of space for small type birds...

Please check the product dimensions. This is definitely adequate for parakeets, finches, lovebirds, cockatiel and if doing avian rehabbing songbirds etc. For parrots size, no. For those giving this item a 1 star due to its size? It does come in THREE sizes, so it needs to be selected in the appropriate size. This travel cage is very sturdy, I did add 2 zip ties to the bottom piece to attach to the cage part for extra security. The door latches very tightly and again, plenty of space in this medium size for 2 parakeets for a trip to the vet or travel etc.

Small Not recommended for rats

I bought this to bring my new rats home, based on the size recommendation on the description, they should have fit....but they definitely didn't. Structurally the top and bottom don't fit together well enough. A couple times the bottom just fell off, so I'd also recommend just carrying from the bottom if critters are in it.

Perfect for what i needed

I have a 10 month old cockatiel and was looking for a way to travel with him. I came across this cage and was excited! It’s a perfect fit!!

WAY TOO SMALL!

The only thing this would be good for is a temporary housing while cleaning another cage. I failed to read the dimensions so that’s on me, but it BARELY fits my guinea pig. I wanted this to be his cage while camping next weekend, however there’s no way he can live in this for 3 days. It would work for a mouse...that’s about it.

Great product

Perfect for transporting small animals! Also very easy to put together. I wouldnt suggest using for anything besides transporting though.
