Description

Feed your Rabbit an all-natural blend of hay that is low in calcium and protein with Kaytee Timothy Complete Alfalfa Free Fiber Diet Rabbit Food. Rabbits need hay to aid in the digestion process, keep their teeth trim and satisfy their need to chew. In fact, hay should make up 75 percent of their daily diet. And while rabbits love alfalfa hay, it contains higher levels of calcium and protein which can lead to urinary tract issues and obesity in adult rabbits. Kaytee Timothy Complete Alfalfa Free Fiber Diet Rabbit Food is made with fiber-rich, sun-cured timothy hay and other ingredients plus vitamins and minerals. • my bunnies love it

    By on

I used to buy cheaper food for my 2 bunnies in a larger size bag at my local farm supply store, but I noticed sometimes their poop would be a little...off. So I started looking into ingredients and decided to spend a little more per pound on this food with higher fiber. It's working great (especially for my middle aged/senior) and my bunnies love it, and the vet says they're both healthy weights! Of course it's also important to give them fresh veggies and fruits too :)

  • Great, healthy grain for a good price

    By on

We've been feeding this grain to our rabbit since we got her. She is nearly 6 yo and hasn't had any health issues. We supplement her diet with Timothy hay and fresh veggies. I like this product for the value but also because we just wanted plain grain pellets (no added "fruit"pieces).

  • Keeping the diet simple and healthy

    By on

The breeder of our rabbits suggested Timothy Complete as a great, simple diet for our bunnies. One year later, the "proof is in the pudding" as our bunnies are healthy and happy. There are no "treats" mixed in this diet, and that leads to healthy bunnies.

  • Has been my go to

    By on

I have used this product for two years, as my rabbits preferred this over oxbow. My one rabbit has ongoing stasis issues and I think it may be contributed to by this food. Sometimes the bags come with accidental seeds or green "dental sticks" from another kaytee timothy pellet product option. I will finish the rest of this bag and start weaning my rabbits onto the oxbow as it's a better quality and vet recommended. I have loved it, and my rabbits have as well but it's more junky than oxbow

  • Great deal!

    By on Top 100 Contributor

Good quality for the price!! I was very happy with the size of the bag, and I feel it had everything needed for a relatively healthy bunny diet. Of course my bunnies also get hay!
