This was the best hideout I could find for my rabbit. The price is reasonable for this size. He loves going inside and napping. He also uses this to run back and forth in. He is 5 lbs and 1 year but other hideouts are too small for him.
Love turning these into bridges and tunnels using eye screws and carabiners. I use the large size to build tunnels, and the medium size to build bridges. My chins LOVE these!! They particularly like sleeping in them. It makes them feel safe! Good to know the wood is pine - one of the few safe woods for chins! Very affordable as well, and last a long time.
Perfect size for my chinchillas they enjoy using it as a bridge to get out of their cage. It's the largest bridge I've found so far. They have chewed on it. They dont really use it to hide or be under but they could if they wanted to. This is a great product! Great price too.
The bunnies love this to hide under, climb on, and chew! We have gotten a few of these over the years and love the quality!
Got for my cockatiel because she likes climbing and chewing so thought this would be a cute addition for her cage to swap with the hay hideout she was destroying. Changed the water in her cage and moved this out of the way to put her water back, went back in the kitchen and saw half my hand covered in blue. Doesn’t come out when you wash your hands either. It’s a good thing I work from home. Photo after rinsing for a good 10 minutes, still bleeding. Can’t imagine that is good for any animal to ingest. Never had a colored toy not be pre-washed before.
I like this tunnel because its rather sturdy and is a good size. I got the biggest one and my guinea pigs enjoy the shelter it provides. They'll even take short rests in them. I want to eventually buy a few more for them. I keep their cage and play pens clean and dry I have not had a problem with the dye wearing off at all.
I got this for my adult Guinea pig and he loves it but it’s sooo big lol
I got it in the size medium but it was to small for my guinea pigs. Good structure and flexible. The color on the wood does come off at first, it did stain my hands a bit.
I bought these as I combined 2 cages together for my Guinea pigs to make it bigger and with the plastic lining for the cage they were chewing on the part that meets so I got 2 of these to kinda built them a bridge. I had a concern about the colored wood but the reviews convinced me to buy them anyways. Upon arrival I noticed one of them was already splintering a little but just dismissed it, but then today they got slightly wet from the water bottle while cleaning the cage and noticed later on the coloring stained my hands so they were taken out of the cage and thrown away
I purchased the medium and the small hideouts. both are well made. The logs are quite large in diameter, so they don't flex as easily, other than in an arch form. Not a negative for me or the gerbs. They love to chew on them, sleep under them, and climb over them! I think they will last a long time, but when they get too chewed up, I will definitely buy them again.
