Kaytee Veggie Mix Freeze-Dried Bird Treats, 3.5-oz bag

A waste of $14 :(

I love Chewy and the brand Kaytee, but this deserved a bad review even though I barely write reviews in the first place. I didn’t want to do this but it had to come to it. First of all, when I opened the veggie mix bag I immediately realized how there were barely any of the freeze dried fruit to begin with. That was a bummer considering that it’s a 3 ounce bag that isn’t very cheap for the size to even begin with. I anticipated that my parakeets would enjoy this treat as well since they’re very picky with their veggie intake, but right as I sprinkled this on top of their bird food, they immediately started pushing it out of their bowls. I had high hopes for this vegetable mix since it’s all natural but I was very disappointed to find out that 80% of the bag is just air and there’s barely any of the veggies inside. I hate to leave a long and negative review but you’d think that with the price of this bird treat blend there would be more than half of the freeze dried vegetables inside, but to my surprise it was quite the opposite. I even bought Kaytee’s fruit mix as well, and of course it has the same amount too. I don’t know if it’s the manufacturing process or if it was a mistake but I’m saddened to find out how this order was just a ripoff and a waste of money.
