I have two aviaries of zebra finches, about 100 of them. As you can see from the attached photo, my finch could not eat the sunflower seeds and the wild rice seeds. The brand is named "Wild Finch", it could have been a good combination for some other finches, but certainly not for zebra finch.
The ordering and delivery were, as always, first rate.
finally found food that my finches will eat. They don't like the solid black finch food.
This finch food is beautifully blended except no birds will eat it. They go through alot of trouble to eat around it. I don't understand what could be wrong with it? It is different than what I usually get from kaytee. Very odd. Not putting any more out. Something is wrong here..They are eating their peanuts and shelled sunflower as usual.
The lovely and colorful finches that visit and munch on the wild finch seeds are great entertainment for me as I watch them from my window. they obviously love this selection of seeds. There is always a bird or two clinging to the feeder and enjoying their easily obtained food.
This food blend is not my backyardigans favorite they are eating it so unfortunately I won’t purchase this blend again. I have to say I love sitting in my back yard in the morning enjoying peace and my coffee and watching them, but the blend I normally get is to expensive now and with the prices Of human food and gas I have to set my priorities in order. I will still order from you but a little at a time. But again this blend was not a favorite of my make believe pets. Thank you for asking my opinion.
Never found seed birds just won't eat... this and the wild finch blend are left untouched... the western blend seems ok though.
We have a lot of house finches that love this seed, also in the spring the goldfinches love it also before they migrate, would highly recommend this seed!
My birdies love this KAYTEE WILD FINCH BIRD FOOD .and so do the Cards , and Woodpeckers, which I am seeing more of them and of course, the SQUIRRELS! THEY LOVE EVERYTHING. BUT, the Finches are inviting there friends because they're incredibly more of them. !
ALL THE SUMMER BIRDS LOVE THIS FOOD. I DONT FEED THE OTHER BIRDS DURING THE SUMMER.
