Great price for a decent product

My woodpeckers like these cakes but they are harder than other cakes I have used in the past. The price is great and I figured the woodpeckers peck on hard wood so they can break these cakes and enjoy them. They last longer too, I guess cause they are so hard.

Surprised and disappointed.

We usually have many birds at seed blocks. These blocks are attracting exceptionally few and they don’t stay long (even squirrels). The blocks are hard as a rock!! I bought in bulk because we usually go through many in a month. Now we have a big supply of seed blocks, but no birds.

Bird Food and Fun

These Kaytee Woodpecker Cakes are packaged nicely. When I opened the package, I expected the cake to crumble some but all the ingredients stayed on the cake. The Woodpeckers loved this the most although I did see an occasional Robin feeding on the cake. The Woodpeckers keep coming back for more and more!! I will be using Kaytee Woodpecker Cakes from now on to attract more Woodpeckers. I received CashBack on my purchase and participated in a CashBack program.

If you feed them, they will come!

I recently tried these Kaytee Woodpecker cakes, and the woodpeckers seem to go nuts over them! They cannot seem to get enough. I love that i can go in my backyard and always see woodpeckers now. I am so happy with this product and will gladly repurchase when I run out! I received CashBack on my purchase and participated in a CashBack program.

That’s a lot of birdfood

Good price if you consider the longevity and quantity. I have a lot of birds that hit my house and the bird food goes fast! I don’t have the correct feeder so I do have to split the seed cake with a machete. :/

Seed cake easy

This type of feed is a huge hit. I put out a cake almost everyday and it’s gone by the next. Love the seeds in a Cale form so easy to put out with no mess. Definitely recommend if you like to watch birds visit feeders. I received this product for review in a cash back campaign

Woodpecker Treats

I'm on the fence about the cake usage for feeding my birds. They seem very hard, maybe that's my perception since I'm not a bird. Any moisture seems to make the cakes a bit messy. I feel like the birds are working hard for their food. I do like that there aren't any shells. There is a good mixture of seed and nuts in this blend. Nice quality buy. Bigger than expected!

When I received the product in the mail, it was bigger than expected! I was really excited to see that! When we put this out, we saw all kinds of wonderful birds! Definitely would recommend this!

Worth it for the tons of woodpeckers

We have quite a few large woodpeckers that live around our backyard so it’s good to have a few more of these set up all around so they can hang and won’t crowd just one suet cage. Received cash back for this, as part of cash back campaign
