How long are the individual pins?

The overall Length of the brush is 9.5 inches. The Brush Head measures 5 inches in Length and 3 inches in Width, the Pin base measures 4.125 inches in Length and 2.5 inches in Width, the Pins at the top measures 4.75 inches in Length and 3.125 inches in Width, the handle measures 4.25 inches in Length, the Grip measures 3.0 inches in Length and 1 inch in Diameter.
How are the pins and or the pad holding the pins held to the handle

The metal pins are stainless steel. They are reinforced by being attached to more stainless steel on the underside of the brush.

This is the brush you want. I don’t even understand why these bristles make such a difference in my puppy’s coat, but this brush is worth it!

I had no idea this brush would make such a big difference. I didn’t want to spend the extra just because the picture looked nicer. I LOVE brushing my long hair GSDs now and they love it too! I don’t know what it is but it doesn’t pull tear and rip at the hair -even in delicate areas. Their fur feels so good again they don’t fight me in order to get a couple of brush strokes in. I bought the oval. Now I’m going to buy the rectangular one. I wish I’d tried this brush sooner.

Exceeded my expectations

I simply intended to replace the old brush with the missing and bent pins. The difference between this one and what I had is significant. This one is heavier with a larger brush head. Heavier in a good way because you don't need to exert so much pressure. It really gets out the loose undercoat. I haven't used the Furminator since I got this brush. Big upgrade.

Finally a brush that works

Finally a brush that works.... I am thrilled to finally find a brush that get the undercoat out of my Aussie and that she doesn't mind being brushed with. This has also been so easy to clean.

Good brush

I was without a brush for my Afghan hound for 3 weeks! Every one was back ordered, currently unavaiable, no longer mfrg them. Thankful you had one and it works well
