I read that this is safe to put in with my freshwater snails to help make there shell stronger? Is this true?
Answer by ChewyApr 07, 2018
The Kent Marine Liquid Calcium Supplement is made for a saltwater reef tank. We do not recommend using this in a freshwater aquarium.

I need to raise the hardness in of the water and add calcium to my freshwater aquarium for my freshwater invertebrates and I can't get coral or limestone. Is it safe to use this in a freshwater aquarium?
Answer by ChewyJul 12, 2017
This aquarium supplement is for marine aquariums only.

good cap, doesn’t leak

Raises and maintains calcium levels, initially takes a lot of liquid to raise the concentration of calcium but it does gradually increase even after water changes

Good stuff

Great product and easy instructions. I use it on my 90 gallon reef tank along with all of the other Kent products
