Stimulate the growth of purple coralline and green calcareous macro-algae with Kent Marine Purple Tech Purple Macro-Algae Stimulator. Colorful coralline algae and stony corals require specific concentrations of calcium, magnesium, strontium, trace minerals and carbonates. Kent Marine Purple Tech Purple Macro-Algae Stimulator provides these ionically balanced nutrients in a liquid reef aquarium supplement. It is highly concentrated and can increase the concentration of calcium by 26 ppm. It is recommended that Kent Marine Purple Tech Purple Macro-Algae Stimulator be added to the system at night to counter the natural decrease of pH.

Instructions

Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds immediately before each use. Add 5-10 ml (1-2 tsp) per 55 gallons of aquarium water to an area of high water flow each day until target calcium level and alkalinity are reached. Due to its highly concentrated formula, dosing will cause cloudiness that will dissipate within one hour. It is recommended that Kent Marine Purple Tech be added to the system in the evening in order to counter the natural tendency for pH to decrease at night. When added at a rate of 1 ml per gallon of purified water, calcium concentration will increase by 26 ppm.

Works well

This stuff HELPS the growth of coral. Keep in mind it only raises tank parameters like calcium to STIMULATE the growth. It does not seed your aquarium.
