    First, let’s just say that Jax is 5 yrs old and has never had a car seat. He’s a hyper dude, so he’s always running back and forth, window to window to center counsel to floor...needless to say the seat is gonna be an adjustment for him. However, I’m so glad I went with this particular car seat because First, let’s just say that Jax is 5 yrs old and has never had a car seat. He’s a hyper dude, so he’s always running back and forth, window to window to center counsel to floor...needless to say the seat is gonna be an adjustment for him. However, I’m so glad I went with this particular car seat because it boosts him up while still being sturdy and grounded to the seat. I was worried that other seats which are often suspended, he’d jump out of be hanging there. I live alone so he rides shotgun and this seat has allowed me reach over and pet him if he’s feeling antsy. The tethers are also great and can be adjusted. He’s still getting used to it, but it’s a great alternative to slamming on tour breaks and having no protection for the pooch. It’s one of the best on the market, imo. The cushion inside is also super comfy. Jax is about 12lbs and he’s rather long, being a Chihuahua mix. I drive a full size Jeep and this is in the passenger seat, so the small is perfect for us!     bought this to help with nervous dog, she seemed no calmer with this despite being able to see out window better. her feet slipped between the cushion and the hard sides and that seemed to make her more nervous. also, the clip intended to keep her safe in the seat is only attached to the fabric, not bought this to help with nervous dog, she seemed no calmer with this despite being able to see out window better. her feet slipped between the cushion and the hard sides and that seemed to make her more nervous. also, the clip intended to keep her safe in the seat is only attached to the fabric, not through the hard foam so that makes ME nervous. we've gone back to our Kurgo seatbelt system because at least she'll be safer if we're ever in an accident … more
