A good seat
Not quite as easy to assemble one might hope, but that's me. It comes in such a large box they may as well send it assembled. It's nice, sturdy & comfy. My 17 lb chiweenie can now see out and be secure. I got the medium size, not small, so she can lay down as well. Her body is 15" long, not including neck & head. I would guess it will hold up for a long time. I personally feel the outside height isn't necessary & would have liked the sides and back lower. But no biggie, just a hint for the maker. It's a good quality piece. Easy to install and remove if one needs to fo frequently. Mine is on the front passenger seat which the curved back fits nicely.
Good Seat for the Price
Nice seat but hard to secure with retractable shoulder seatbelt. Putting the belt through the opening in the seat base is difficult while trying to keep the seatbelt from retracting. It’s either a two person job or you have to get creative acrobatically! It’s not something I want to move very often between vehicles unless you’re just using a normal lap belt. I do like that it has two anchor leashes on the seat itself so that I can attach to both sides of our pup’s harness. I feel better that he’s securely strapped in he loves being able to see out the window.
This is the best!
I bought the big one for my 16 pound mixed breed because although she doesn't weight that much, her body is long. I was taking her on a 6 hour car trip and wanted her to be comfortable, and she was! This is great. I can tether her to the seat, she has lots of padding to be comfortable and since the seat is buckled in, it feels very safe to me. Highly recommend!
Great product
Maggie and her brother love the seat. In order to get them comfortable before going on car rides, I put the seat in the living room and have watched them smell it and investigate it. They are now comfortable sitting and even napping in it, with their favorite toy. I took Maggie for a ride and she loved it. I felt better knowing she was safe and hiding the seat belt under the cushion leaves a good feeling that she will not chew on it. The only problem is that our little man will not fit in it with her. She is a big girl.
Great Car Seat
I previously tried a booster that you hung over the front seat headrest but because my pup is a Dachshund, she couldn't lay down. For just a few dollars more, I took a chance on the K&H Bucket Booster. I went with the Large so she would have all the room she needed to get comfy. Because she is a terrible car rider, I use both harnesses to clip her in. When she's awake she is able to look out the window and as you can see from the picture, she's able to sleep soundly. I most likely will not "knockdown" the seat as it's much easier to just unhook it move it to the trunk.
Outstanding!
I couldn’t wait for my grand pup who happens to be Frenchie to try this out! As soon as we took it out of the box he climbed in it! Super safe and easy to install. We put him in his harness and hooked him in. We took him for a test drive and he was in heaven! Outstanding comfy car seat. I purchased the Large in the Tan color. Skipper is a stout pup but he has remove to move around in it! Thanks Chewy
great bed for the car
Jazzy loves her car seat! It is comfy for her and she can look out the window while we are driving or take a nap. She is in the bed securely with the two straps on her harness and the bed is held in nicely with the seatbelts.
Everyone’s Happy!
This is by far the best seat for your furry family! They hold up amazingly and my Frenchie can sit or lay down very comfortably with room to spare. All of our Frenchies have one. Won’t be disappointed.
Best car seat
My dog loves this car seat. I have had it for years. It looks great and it is super comfy. I had to add a little pillow to boost my French Bulldog a bit, but other than that its one of the best items I have gotten for my dog.
