Can this be used without the legs for a new puppy safe place?

This Dog Bed should not be modified to ensure the safety of your pet and requires the legs for assembly.
How long will the velcro last?

This Pet Bed does not use velcro. The metal tubing goes through the frame for a tight, secure fit and has corner connectors to stay in place.

Cat Loves It

I noticed that my cat really likes to lie on my suitcase when I have it out. I thought these pet beds would be similar (elevated, slightly concave top). I was right. I replaced the suitcase with a pet bed, and she loves it. She spends a lot of her day on her bed. I also have it against a wall, so she will lean back against the wall and take baths on it too. I think my other cat likes it, but she doesn't get much opportunity to use it. I am likely going to purchase a second bed. This size (22x17) is perfect for my 11# cat. I am happy with the quality of the item.

Not using it as a bed

I bought this for my dog to use as a bed so she could hang out with me outside while I garden. She completely ignored it outside. But when I brought it inside, she liked it as a step/boost to jump onto the couch - we tried 3 different kinds of pet steps once her back legs started getting weak and she hated all of them, so if this works instead, great!
