    Well made, easy to assemble

    I’ve had K and H products in the past, and as with the other products, this is also very well made. I know I can trust this manufacturer. The bed is easy to assemble. Note, add water before putting the bed on the frame. Also, the instructions suggest adding grapefruit seed extract to the water. I bought this because we moved from the PNW to the desert SW, in August. Our dogs were born and raised in the PNW and had a hard time adjusting to the heat. After filling the bed and putting it together, I put my hand on the cooling area, and it was noticeably cooler. One of my dogs used it a few times, but ultimately they prefer the tile floor. … more

    Well built, sort of

    1st off, my dog (a boxer) didn't take to it. He loves basking in the sun in the yard. My buddy has something similar off chewy as well, and his Irish Terrier utilizes it, so I decided to give it a try. Well, my dog was not a fan. He'd lay in the yard, but right next to it. I'd put it in all of his 1st off, my dog (a boxer) didn't take to it. He loves basking in the sun in the yard. My buddy has something similar off chewy as well, and his Irish Terrier utilizes it, so I decided to give it a try. Well, my dog was not a fan. He'd lay in the yard, but right next to it. I'd put it in all of his favorite spots, even encouraged him to use it with treats. It was still a no go. Fast forward 3 months, the top layer of the area that holds water peeled off. The canvas that holds it to the frame has dry rotted on one side of the long sides and is no longer suitable for use. Mind you, this has deteriorated to the point of no use in 3 months, and was never even used by my boxer. Don't waste your money. … more
