How does this work? Does the water evaporate to cool or is it a water pouch?

The K&H Coolin’ Pet Cot absorbs a pet's natural body temperature of 102°F and coverts it to room temperature, which is normally well below the dog’s body temperature. The difference created between the room temperature and the dog’s body temperature is how the Coolin’ Pet Cot provides a cooler, refreshing surface for your dog.
what is that orange plastic cap in the middle of the bed in one of the pictures?

The orange plastic cap is the filler cap. To fill the cot and activate the Cool Care technology, this filler cap will be opened. For the Care & Instructions Guide, click the “Instructions” tab, next to the “Description” tab, just under the product photos.

If he will use it

I have a pitty mix that is allergic to everything. Including the grass he loves to lay in. I bought this bed hoping we could go outside and he would lay on it rather than the grass. He laid on it for awhile but inevitably he goes back to the grass. I don't think it's the bed, I think its him.

Easy setup, but with a twist

Arrived quickly and was easy to set up. I noticed that it contorts when not in use, but seems stable when on the ground. The canopy also seems to help stabilize it. It was easy to fill and drain the cooling pad. My dog is not interested in laying in it though, but it seems sturdy when she stands on it. Once assembled it was easy to move.

3 happy customers! It will hold a puddle of water in the middle if it’s left in the rain. So recommend keeping it leaning/standing when not in use.

Dogs love it!

For my dogs that have skin issues, this bed is perfect for keeping them cool when outdoors and allows air flow to their skin. The height is not a problem for them to jump up on, and it was very easy to assemble. No issues filling it with water and the material is very sturdy. Would definitely purchase again!

The fabric tore very quickly. This was definitely not worth the money. We were quite disappointed because we thought this would be great for our dogs

almost perfect

It’s been one night and he stayed on the bed all night. I believe it does keep him cool throughout the night. I just have to say the material isn’t the best. I will definitely be looking for a better quality bed. I have a feeling this one isn’t going to last. It’s all plastic. It reminds me of an inflatable pool in toy before it’s inflata

I'm sti...

I'm still learning my place. This place was a little trouble at first. The center is very slick under my feet and I slip if I try to move to quickly on or off. Even without water the center is cooler than the carpet. But I love a cold tile floor better!
