this is wonderful, don’t get me wrong. my cat who loves to destroy furniture has been so hyperfocused on this since I got it. but she’s been dedicating a lot of that focus toward the cardboard on the side that she can chew up/off which creates a lot of mess. compared to the “mess” a typical scratcher would create, this is just a bit too easy for my cat to exacerbate that mess. it’d be cool if instead of the sides being straight up cardboard, that they were at the very least a cheap sort of wood. idk. I’m not an architect or a designer. I’m just here to share my experience and to let fellow parents of cats that like to tear apart cardboard know the risks of this. god bless
The kitty scratcher ramp arrived on 7/7 but didn't hold up well once my cat began using it. The cardboard started shredding immediately, it'll be two weeks on 7/21. I'm disappointed in this product. On the plus side, for 10 years when I ordered items for my Shih Tzu I was never disappointed, thank you.
This cat scratcher has everything I was looking for. It has a grooming brush. It has rolling balls to entertain my cats. It is sturdy and the perfect height for my cats. This cat scratcher is a perfect addition to my cat room.
This is a good scratching board that my two cats go to all the time.
My two kitty boys LOVE this toy! The playful one can roll the balls back & forth & the shy one likes to rub his body against the brush over & over. & they can both climb on it & use it for a scratching post.
My cats really like this but I don’t think I would buy it again. Nothing at all against the toy. It is really high quality. They love to climb on it, scratch it and a few of the cats have played with the balls. I haven’t seen any of them use the grooming brush that is inside. That is really the only reason I probably wouldn’t buy it again. If they aren’t going to use all the features, I could spend less to just get the features they will use. I would buy from this brand again. Again, it’s a really nice toy that my cats like a lot. No issues here, they just don’t use the grooming brush.
This scratcher with two balls that don't come out when they play with them is driving my cat crazy. He will get them out at some point though. He scratches on them hard to try and get them to come out. He hasn't made it yet. It is very sturdy and keeps him busy for a long time. Putting a little catnip on it helps also.
Belle & Judy love their new scratcher. Santa was good to them this year.
We have several cats and so keep several types of scratching toys around for them. This helps save our furniture. Some of our climbing cats love the challenge of getting at the top and digging into this scratcher. Also the younger ones love the balls and play with them for hours. It is a nice design that fits in any area and is very sturdy.
Our cat was a stray that adopted us. His name is Albert. It took him a few days to get used to using it but now he uses it every day. He’s still a bit skidish about walking through it for the brush part but he has done that a few times also. All in all- a good purchase.
