Washing Instructions: As with any feather bed, you don’t want to wash it frequently since this will break down the feathers inside.
Please make sure to always wash in cold water on gentle cycle with a mild detergent such as Woolite®. Never use bleach or fabric softener with any feather bed, as this also contributes to the breakdown of feathers. Dry on the no-heat cycle or with very low heat.

Excellent bed, worth every penny!
By csbrunvs on Jan 16, 2021
I have two older large dogs. Vader is 11 and weighs about 90 lbs and Luke is 9 and weighs right at 100 lbs. I’ve bought several different orthopedic beds for them over the years. Over the past year, Vader stopped laying on his bed, which I thought was odd. We purchased a new couch that is down filled, and Vader started sleeping on the couch. I saw this bed and bought two of them, hoping Vader would like it since it has the feather top. He loves it!!!! Luke also loves his. It gives great support (he has a slipped disc in his back and just had his knee replaced) and he sleeps through the night comfortably (previous beds he would get up every couple of hours and do circles or dig at the bed to try I have two older large dogs. Looks great, didn't please pups.
By BanksCash on Mar 30, 2021
I don't see anything wrong with this bed (although the size large really wasn't big enough for 80# GSD), but neither dog would use it. They got on it when told to, but then off as soon as possible. Disappointing.

My own bed
By Nefe on Jan 23, 2021
Nefertiti shared the bed with her brother Maximus. It was big enough but Max wasn’t a sharing type of a guy. So I either stole it or slept on the floor, I didn’t like my Mom’s bed. One night Mom set up this bed across from Max and coaxed me on. I love it! I let Max borrow it now while I take his, or we play musical beds but I now have a bed of my own

Just buy it!
By BlueHeelerMom on Dec 1, 2020
I first bought a version of this bed over 4 years ago. I have since purchased a total of three of these beds for senior dogs. Eventually, after about 3 years of constant use, the foam will start to get compacted. But it takes it awhile to get there. The covers have held up, and they wash extremely well. Not sure why people are getting broken zippers. I've washed all three covers probably two dozen times each (because seniors have accidents) and not one single zipper has broken. I don't usually zip the zipper before washing either. I have learned to put a blanket on top of the bed, so I just wash the blanket and don't have to take the cover completely off, because putting it back on can be a I first bought a version of this bed over 4 years ago. The foam kinda grips the cover as you're trying to put it on making it hard to pull it on. So if you do plan on washing the cover frequently, it's easier to just put a blanket/towel on top and wash the blanket rather than remove the cover. Anyway, my dogs have loved this bed! Your dogs will love it too! … more

This is a great dog bed. My older dog loves it. It gives comfort to his arthritic hips.

Great Bed!

This bed is great! Both our dogs love them, the memory foam is firm and the top layer is very soft. They are easy to wash and get the memory foam back in the cover.

Poor Quality
By Poor on Aug 29, 2020
I bought this bed for my 12.5 year old lab so she could have comfort in her senior years. She loved it, however, after I washed the cover for the first time, the very cheap zipper broke. This is a huge 40 X 50 bed, and after looking at the zipper closely, it is the quality of a zipper for a toddler backpack. When you spend this much $ on a bed, you expect quality.

Loving it!

My 10 year old golden&lab mix pup loves his new bed! Size XL is slightly big for him but we don’t mind it :) obviously he’s getting old and his hip and joints are not working the same but I hope that this bed will help him feel better :)

great purchase
By Chels on May 9, 2020
This was a great purchase, my dog loves it! It’s super comfortable and easy to clean. He has had this same bed now since we brought him home 2 years ago and it’s still in great shape! He’s an 115lb Swissy so that goes to show it’s durable.

Dogs love it and durable!
By LisaJ on Jan 30, 2020
I bought this bed 3+ years ago for my rottie who could no longer get up on my bed. She loved it. Since she passed, my pittie has taken it over. The cover has been washed several times - with no problem. It's holding up so well I just ordered another K&H bed for another room.
