Our cats likes it too much maybe...
This heating pad is very popular in our house. We originally purchased it for our senior cat who was dying. He never left it. He has passed away, but it was inherited by a younger senior kitty in the house...who never leaves it. We joke that the electrical cord is part of her anatomy now. I even moved it to "an uncomfortable location" and she chose that location over sunshine or soft beds. It's easy to wash. We love it.
2nd one of these in a year
This is the 2nd one of these mats I have bought this year. My 18yo cat is always cold and she has enjoyed these mats. My only complaint is that after a short time, only half (or less) of the mat heats up, so she has to curl up on one end, the end closest to the plug. They have both done this, so it's disappointing. I bought the 2nd one because I thought maybe it was a bad pad or a fluke, but no, they have both done the same thing. I need to find one that works similarly to this but actually works for a longer period of time. This is a bit much to spend to only work properly for a few months. But she does love the part that works.
Returned-Did not put out any heat at all
Was so excited to receive this item yet when plugged in it did not produce any heat at all. Chewy refunded the cost.
Kitties love it!
I bought this to help spoil my older girl who is always cold (hyperthyroidism and lymphoma are tough). At first a I was a bit disappointed with it as the material didn't feel very good to me, and the heating pad is only about 1/3 the size of the outer pad, but both of my cats adore it, and the smaller heating pad appears to let them adjust how much heat they want without having to leave the pad. I might have to get a second one, since I've caught my younger boy (who she does NOT like) trying desperately to share it with her.
best purchase for elderly cat
Bought this on a whim for my elderly cat who used to use a heated blanket (until it stopped working). Instantly fell in love with it when i laid it out on the bed, and pretty much lives on it now. Even the dogs try and steal it from her from time to time! Easy to set up and easy to clean!

A surprisingly 65 in FL this morning. Lovey Bug is loving her new, heated pad. At 13lbs there's plenty of room for her to spread out, once she warms up. Fits nicely under any one of her beds. Great price
HEATING PAD ELEMENT
The pad is advertised as 20"x15"x1.5". The size of the heating element inside the pad is only 8"x9". Very disappointed that heating element was so small for the large pad.
Cat loved it immediately
I set this out tonight and my cat immediately sat on it to test it out, then sprawled his body over the entire thing. I have never seen him lay like that. It's like he's trying to get every part of his body to feel the warmth. He has a healing leg injury, and he is laying with that side on the pad, so I think it feels good for that. I am sure he would get off or shift of it was bothering him. I felt it getting warm so I know it worked. I'm keeping an eye on him via the camera (I'm attaching a couple pictures from the cam in night vision). He actually has a fixation with cords and was playing with the cord for the heating pad for a second, but luckily he can't really bite it because he has an e-collar on and hasn't figured out how to get things into his mouth. I also said "no chewing cords" through the cam and he stopped. I'll have to figure out some kind of barrier for the cord if he keeps playing with it. I had no idea he would love it so much. Too bad I didn't get it earlier!
I had to buy another
I bought this because my cat likes to lay on my router that sits on my desk because it is warm. At first I wasn’t impressed. The one side is made out of some weird material that my cats want to scratch and tear up. I flipped it over and was using the wrong side! Now they both want to sit on it but only one can fit at a time. So I bought another today. I wish the color was prettier. I plan on getting some fleece fabric to make a cover like a tie blanket to spruce it up. The heat is just right. My cats love it!

My cat LOVES this totally.... His tendency to perch on my neck for warmth has declined. And it really doesn't get too hot which was my hesitation in purchasing it... It is easily portable & good price as well. So if I want him near me all I have to do is bring the matt over, plug in and get him to lie on it. We have found a good compromise for 'his way or the high way' when it comes to cuddles.
