This item is only a cover, which is compatible with the Lectro-Soft Heated Pet Bed by K&H Pet Products. The heating pads are powered with a steel-wrapped power cord and require between 20 - 60 watts of energy, depending on their size.
is there an off & on switch??

K&H Pet beds and pads do not have on/off switches and are not pressure sensitive. All K&H heated beds and pads feature dual thermostats and are designed to warm your pet's normal body temperature when he/she lies on the pad. This is a function of the insulation provided by a pet’s body, not the weight of the pet. K&H beds and pads will emit heat anytime they are plugged in so your pet can sense that heat and be drawn to the bed or pad for warmth and comfort. When your pet is not on the pad, the heat will dissipate into the air and the surface temperature will vary according to the ambient air temperature.

Love the heater!

I have an igloo on my front porch for a feral cat. The igloo is right by an outlet, so I can use this electric mat for her during these cold months. She loves it! It came with its own cover; so I did not have to buy one. Great product, great price! Great delivery also; it came in two days. Will be using Chewy more and more!

Doesn't cover both sides

Buyer be aware, this cover only covers one side fully and does not cover both sides. Our dog digs this right off in seconds.

Not exactly what I expected

I assumed the large fleece cover would fit the large fleece bed but the cover is much bigger than the bed. We folded it under but i thought the bed would slip inside the cover. The fleece is really soft.

Soft Cover

This replacement cover was much needed as I wash the covers for my two outdoor cat houses often. My wish was that it was a little thicker. Will be ordering more as I would like to have replacements.

Top only cover ; not fully enclosed

I should have read the description more closely. I assumed it was the fully enclosed zipper cover. It’s just the faux sheepskin with straps to secure it to the old pad, which decreases the warmth felt. I clearly bought the wrong product for me.

Love having an extra

My dogs spend ALL their time on their heating pads. Having some extra covers to swap out and throw in the laundry is so convenient. They've held up well over time too.

Poor product overall

The cover for this mat does not cover entire mat. It does not provide a way to place the cover over the mat with the cord which interferes with the mat cover. POOR design and I don't think very safe. It is rare for me to write this type of review but this product is inferior. Thank you..

Warm and cuddly

My cats both love this bed!!!! And therefore, so do I! I have not had a chance to use the replacement cover because the bed is new, but again, MY CATS LOVE THE BED!

Keeps Feral Kitty Warm

I had gotten the tent, heating pad with cover a couple of years ago. I have a feral cat, 17 year old tiny spayed female, and she went to it right away. Spends most winter days inside of it. She doesn't go in it in the summer, prefers to sleep on the deck or in the garden. At the end of summer this year, I took it apart to clean it, and hadn't realized how funky it had gotten. I tried to clean the cover for the pad, but it was a losing battle. I was able to order the cover for the pad through Chewy. It came in a timely manner, fit perfectly, and Penny the feral kitty is again enjoying her warm tent and bed. I really love the heated tent, and so does Penny!
