Great bed, can't beat the price
I was so happy I chose this bed over the alternative (reviews staying it was impossible to put together). This bed is very sturdy and was very easy to put together... Just connecting PVC. Simple. We bought this bed so puppy would have a "place"... Namely a place that is not our couch. After some training and correcting, he now voluntarily comes to his place to munch on a carrot or take a nap. My guy is currently at 60lbs and it fits him great with room to spare, which is good, because he's still growing! Yesterday I found my son curled up with him on his place. I was skeptical about the weight limit of 200lbs, but not anymore! I love the mesh bottom which keeps my doodle cool, as they can overheat easily. It's a good value in itself, but I managed to grab it on sale. Price can't be beat.
Over the past 3 years I have used cots and all my pets really enjoy them to sleep on, just sit on or to play on. Outside is where I have put ours and they really do use them. My pets range in age 1yr. to almost 8 yrs. Inside they use beds so it gives them a change and I think that is why they like them so much.
Lightweight, sturdy bed!
Our puppy has never had an elevated bed and took to it right away! No persuasion necessary at all. Assembly was super easy peasy. I love that there's replacement fabric and it's machine washable in case of accidents. We'll probably get another one (XL for growing puppy) for outdoor or just another location in the house!
comy they are
I have bought seven of these beds in different sizes, and am so pleased with them! My pets and granddogs love them. They are so durable inside and outside, and since several of my furbabies are seniors, makes their lives a lil more comfortable. Definitley recommend
Broke in the first hour
There is a 200 lb weight limit and my dog is only about 100-110 lbs. It was delivered today and she used it for less than an hour and it broke. I also tried to email k&h like it asks on the note in packaging and the email doesn’t work.
Smaller than you think. Not for larger breeds.
Got the X-large size for my 11 month (85 lb) German shepherd. He can fit on it, but there is no room to lay on his side and relax. Essentially the only way he can fit is if he stands on it or sits like the dog is in the photo they use to market this bed (upright). This is not a relaxing position for large dogs after they run around for hours. So if you have a large dog like me I would avoid this product. The build of the product does seem good though if you have a smaller dog.
She loves her bed.
Our dog took to the bed/cot right away. It just took a few sniffs and some circle circle as we call it. But she laid down once she found her spot. We just put it in a spot she already likes laying down at. No issues and holds well for our Great Dane.
Bought the K&H elevated pet bed and canopy cover. Within minutes of it being assembled my cats where already laying on it. Thought this would be a good addition for my outdoor cats OB, Cosmo, and Jonesy, to keep them cool during the summer months. Loved it so much I am ordering a 2nd set. Highly recommend.
Great for the price
My dog is ~56lbs and the large was a perfect size. Color is exactly as in the picture. The large does have to pulled and velcro-ed, which is a little difficult, but likely good, as I'm sure it will stretch over time. My only compliant is a a few weeks in, it creeks when my dog climbs on or moves. But hold him and he love his bed on it!
Good bed thats harder to destroy
My puppy has destroyed 3 or four beds, so it was time to change it from a pillow style bed to a cot style bed. At this point there would normally be stuffing and shredded fabric everywhere, so I cant complain.
